  1. Had to change the title to reflect his immense talent Zoolander Blue Steel. Whaddya think? Has he nailed it? Or how about De Niro "you talkin' to me?" or Gable "frankly my dear, I dont give a damn"
  2. What's your budget and what do you want to take photos of?
  3. sadly nothing for me, I'm sure of that too.
  4. Bumping up cause I'm sure there'll be alot of new additions in the next day or so.
  5. so crisp and clear! I'm glad you got the little 50mm. What did you have before the Canon? It's hard to keep track of what everyone's got.
  6. have a look here http://www.bayside.vic.gov.au/animals_dog_off_leash_areas.htm
  7. I took a friend today to pick up his new dog, a rescue who's spent the last 3 days being transported from Qld to Vic. She's got sore inflamed skin around her eyes and rubs at them. I've bathed them in cold tea and her new owner is taking her to the vet tomorrow to get her checked out all over and no doubt the eyes will be carefully examined. We're hoping it's just irritation from her long travel but does anyone know for sure what might be going on with them? Before they were bathed and after
  8. this forum might help you, http://photography-on-the.net/forum/index.php Canon used to have tutorials but I cant seem to find them now. Just had another look this might help although it's not the one I used to look at. http://www.canon.com.au/en-au/worldofeos/home
  9. Just to prove he can wear them properly, here he is admiring his reflection, and who can blame him.
  10. I think I'm one of the last people in the world who doesn't have a mobile phone.
  11. Sarsanet will probably choke on her weeties when she sees these. She'd be shot before she posts pics of her dogs with incorrect ears, but such things dont bother me. I think he looks mighty cute and I love his goofy ears. I think it's Cadburys new sexy male model, Looking suave. Strike a pose Pucky! Work it baby! Oh Yeah! Blowing kisses to his many fans mwah! OK, he's had enough. At least he takes his props with him
  12. If you think the postage is too high on redbubble, it's almost doubled since last year, please add your comment and vote here. Maybe they'll take note. http://feedback.redbubble.com/forums/3434-feedback/suggestions/2401529-postage-on-calendars
  13. I have 3 crates and all my dogs are trained to go into them but these days the crates are folded away and almost never used. I wont be getting rid of them though. If one of my dogs were injured I might need to crate it. Occasionally I might need one if the dogs fight. I used to use them alot if I took the dogs to a show or to the races. I find them invaluable to have but I almost never need them now. A good tool to have.
  14. Wow, you'd be forgiven for thinking the last 2 were taken in broad daylight. It's amazing sometimes isn't it. I remember looking out the window at night during a heavy storm and it was pitch black one minute and just like your pics, broad daylight the next. There was my mare Pagan with her head down calmly chomping away on grass, not bothered at all.
  15. Hmmmm, I think it might be too blown out. Pity cause it would have been nice.
  16. I'm thinking the range of the sigma would be better for me. Wider at 17mm and up to 70mm would have me covered cause I already have a 70-200mm
  17. I've got a couple, one, I bought in a junk shop recently and another that I was given, it's an old rangefinder.
  18. You need to look up the breed standard but it's still very open to interpetation. If you haven't joined your breed club it would be a good start. Then start going to shows and do alot of eavesdropping To be able to show your dog you need to have the pedigree papers and he needs to be on the full register, that means his papers will be blue.
  19. Yep, photofunia, that's where I did my avatar of Kibah.
