Lure Coursing In Adelaide - For Non-greyhounds
Kirislin replied to jacqui835's topic in General Dog Discussion
more from that day here. If you cant find anywhere to course your hounds perhaps you could form a club, or at least get a group of interested people together, buy yourself a drag lure, or if someone is clever enough, make one, and organise your own days. Your dogs will love you for it. -
Has anyone got their box yet?
-
If they are the same price I'd definitely be going for the 60D for the ladedadeda said.
-
congrats on joining the "Canon club" your model is lovely, I expect we will see alot more of her. :D
-
That's disgusting and downright nasty! I'm a bit confused, what part of the crime stoppers article is bogus?
-
that blossom has to be a nectarine dogfan, I've got one too! I'm looking forward to actually getting some fruit this year too, although I mustn't assume. Every other year the whippets tear the fruit off when it's still tiny and hard and green, they eat it, so it's not completely wasted but I'd love to actually get to sample some myself, so over the years I've pruned the tree in a weird (and totally wrong) way so all the branches point upwards, and hopefully will be too high for them to get all the fruit this year. We shall see, anyway, here are my beautiful little blossoms, with all the promise of summer fruit for me!!!! :D

Introducing Hank. The Beaglesaurus.
Kirislin replied to Jodie Elijah's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
I'm no expert but he looks like a foxhound or cross of, to me. -
the one on the right looks taxidermied to me.
-
He sounds gorgeous. The dogs who understand they need to be gentle with kids are really amazing aren't they. Some horses are like that too, they know they have to be "soft" with kids.
-
far out, the price has dropped even lower!!
-
My niece came to visit today with her precious daughter. The whippets dont get to see or be close to kids too often but Puck (all of them in fact) was the perfect babysitter. He was closely supervised but was so gentle and calm with her, I'm so proud of him. So this is what it's come to, I'm nothing but a pillow for a kid. Sigh............

My favourite so far is the one of the dogs view under the dunny door, the bloke with the frilly knickers on. Very funny and clever I think
-
I recognised yours straight away Helen, without needing to see the name. :D Yep, I've put mine in, it's not very good though, not really taken from the dogs perspective, though I could've described it differently and made it as if it was from another dogs perspective. Some joker has already flagged mine as inappropriate.

How revolting. This is probably one of those stories that should be in the cruelty and abuse section.
-
quick then! now you've decided you better take the plunge before they rocket their prices up again. They go up and down like a yo yo.
-
I appreciate you looking for it though Shell. You know what's got me intruiged about it now though. The cover photo was entered in last years Canon Photo 5 comp, see, she's got the big black glasses on. I'm wondering what the groups, or at least the cover designers connection to Canon is.

Found it!! Myrtle Street Connection featuring Aiden Roberts. :D

Here's the lens archive on POTN http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=188563

see if you can view them here http://www.canon.com.au/en-au/worldofeos/photo5/2011-entries
-
Huh? can you see the other briefs? What are they, I cannot see them, it still says coming soon when I look.
-
I dont think it will be super limited boxes, try not to worry, they're just making sure people will actually submit photos. I have to admit to being one who got the boxes in the past and didn't enter a photograph. They're even having a TV campaign, I'm sure there'll be enough to go round. What bothers me is I've submitted my photo and I could see it when I was logged in but if I viewed the entries when I wasn't logged in a whole lot of different photos came up, and mine wasn't there. Now it's not there even when I am logged in. Last time I looked the site had crashed so hopefully they're fixing it up now. You'd think a company as big as Canon would have a fail safe web site for this, they've been doing it for years now, they should have it sorted.
-
I can see my entry when I'm logged in, it's when I'm not logged in it's gone, and strangely so are alot of others. I dont know what they're doing. I asked on their facebook site and my question was taken down. I was quite polite about it too.
-
Canon needs to sack whoever is designing and running the EOS photo 5 comp site. If I view the entries when I am logged in, I can only see 3 pages of entries, if I view it when I am NOT logged in there are 4 pages but my own photo is not there. What the hell are they doing? Oh, does anyone know how you can comment on their facebook page. I can look but I cant comment.
-
still cant submit photos.

not 100% sure this is your lens but if it is, it needs a 52mm filter. http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/store/product.asp?idProduct=1918 If they've given you the wrong size, even if it was free they should replace it for you with the correct size.
