  1. aah yes, I can see it all in my minds eye.
  2. Yay How did they get the to run? Was it after a lure, or were they running to someone they knew?
  3. I have a photo, it's not very good but it's the best I could come up with, I'm hoping they'll send a box to anyone who makes the effort to try, without actually judging whether or not the photo is "good enough". I dont know when it opens. I've had a look this morning but I cant enter yet. If you figure it out please let me know.
  4. wow, that looks like it was a blast. I dont know if what I do is correct on flickr but it works. You need to put the photos of that day into a set, or you'll be playing all the photos on your flickr account here as a slideshow. To get it to show a slideshow here I just click on slideshow in flickr, when it comes up I just copy the address bar at the top and then paste it here in the reply. It plays it as a slideshow, easy peasy.
  5. great shots, how cute, "oh well, she's disappeared" so he toddles off, and I love the follow the leader one too.
  6. aww thanks Libbylewis, do you have sighthounds yourself? thanks indigirl.
  7. It's sounding more hopeful now. Hang in there China
  8. It's not something I've noticed, but maybe she has a really good sense of smell or maybe her dogs do smell different but it's nothing to do with their sex, it might just be their individuality. I'm sure dogs themselves would recognise an individual by smell. When Rowdy (horse) was alive although he smelt like a horse, he had a different odour to his mother. To anyone else they might just think horsey smell, but I could tell the difference between them.
  9. what brand is your lens? 50-200, I cant find any that range
  10. Just checking in hoping for some good news. You say unfortunately it was a black, are they worse than browns?
  11. far out, makes me want to buy another one!
  12. Hoping for a positive outcome, you must be sick with worry.
  13. not necessarily. I dont know about other brands but alot of people use them. Have a look on POTN, it's a Canon forum but they have a lens archive with pics using just about any lens in existence that fits on a Canon.
  14. although I dont have one, this is supposed to be very good for a crop camera. Similar focal range to what your kit lens is but better quality, hence the price, it can be fixed at 2.8 which gives you that lovely shallow depth of field and it's reputed to be very sharp. http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/store/product.asp?idProduct=823
  15. thanks! You must have a cool  job.
  16. it's the song here when they play the Photo 5 video. http://www.canon.com.au/en-au/worldofeos/photo5/home?wid=htphoto52011 thanks Shell. :D
  17. whippets or down size to Iggies, as long as I'm still active enough to get out and walk them. If not, probably a cat, maybe an old fashioned siamese or a moggy, or both.
  18. thanks for looking at my funny guys. You might be right sandgrubber, they certainly didn't seem phased by the heat and Kibah has eaten hot peppers in the past.
  19. Your wish is my command. It's a bit hard trying to throw the peas and take the pic. Puck going for the catch Tag, anticipating. he's not too good at catching. Duuuuh, missed. Penny: quick chuck it to meeee! Puck again. Kibah, concentrating Where'd it go?
  20. No, you're not mixing me up, even I was surprised at this one though. Feather is the only one who doesn't want them.
  21. I ask here cause it's to do with photography, what's the song used for the EOS Photo 5 comp. It's very catchy and I find myself humming it alot. I see they're even advertising the comp on telly this year.
