  2. I'm having trouble watching the vid. Are they puppy farming them?
  3. I couldn't watch it, it took too long to load, I dont know if it's my computer or the video. Hey were you the person who was looking for a staffy iggy cross a couple of years ago. I am pretty sure I saw one a couple of months ago at St Kilda beach. I could clearly see both breeds in this amazing little dog and it brought back to mind there'd been a person here looking for one.
  4. Huh? me too, I love seeing little Elbie. What's up?
  5. What a disasterous chain of events. I dont like the sound of the burn on your dog, I hope it's OK. Well actually I hope you are all OK. Today has to be better for you.
  6. How cute is the look of wonder on Charms face. awwww
  7. Looks like you're learning the ropes with that camera of yours. ;)
  8. My dream is to holiday with my dogs. What a great hubby you have there to do all that.
  9. I can definitely understand you crying over such a sweet happy little bloke. Yes, fly high little bird.
  10. very sad for the dog and original owners who were too trusting. If the seller has been decietful about the age of the dog to the new owners I hope they find out and take him to consumer affairs or whoever deals with ripoffs. I hope he gets done like a dinner.
  11. Oh Ruth, I am so sorry, I've only just seen this.
  12. Huga, you are so creative. I wish I had a smidgin of your talent.
  13. How could people keep these poor dogs in this conditon. I will never understand. a total of 29 sighthounds rescued in the US. Graphic pics warning. http://www.greyhoundsunlimited.org/adoptin...eds.shtml#fwacc
  14. I reckon you could enter this one in this months challenge. http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?showtopic=201902 the "Bug"
  15. I am a registered breeder and I had a page of 10 people who said they wanted a puppy, not one of those people actually bought one once they were born. All had either changed their minds and got another breed or weren't really serious about wanting one in the first place, talk is cheap. There were huge complications and I nearly lost my beloved Kibah, who had to have an emergency caesar and spey and was in intensive care for 3 days, and I had to hand raise 3 and foster off 4 pups. One pup was born dead, one died the next day. As they were growing one tore out a nail and cost a fortune in vet care. I could go on. As well as that I had to get one back and re home her at about 2 years old. Mine is the first breeders nightmare and I thought I was doing everything right. I had saved up alot of money in case of emergencies. I needed it. I estimate I was about $2000 out of pocket even after selling the puppies. My recommendation to her is dont do it!!! Show her the link staffntoller posted and maybe get her to go to a shelter to see all the beautiful good natured, desperate dogs there. I hope she changes her mind.
  16. You might find she's alot better in the morning. Yes, it looks like a bite or some other allergic reaction. One thing my vet told me when my horse came up in welts all over his body and his face swelled up like the elephant man is that it only takes one wasp, not a whole swarm. I assumed all the individual lumps were separate bites, but no, just the reaction from one. I hope your girl is feeling much better now.
  17. Your friend will love these! I laughed at the toe chewing one. My fave is the first one of the little chi where she? sort of blends into the background cause it's a similar colour.
  18. aww it's so nice to see cats and dogs, especially greyhounds being mates. Pia looks very whippety. Is she small for a greyhound? I love the way your cat is looking at her in the first pic.
  19. Send her an email. that's what I did
  20. that happened to me once too. I'd ordered some panties from the US for my girls before they were speyed. I'd got them from a woman on a US whippet forum and when I got the little note from customs in there I wrote about it on the forum that the woman is on. She then fessed up that before she posts a package, she rubs it over her whippets so it smells interesting for the recipient. Obviously it got the sniffer dogs attention too.
