Poor dog, that must have been agony. Maybe he wanted his rescuer to take him to the vet. I'd love to know what happened.

They get plenty of cuddles. Can someone please tell me the steps I go through in photoshop to straighten these? -
I loved these photos and thought you guys might appreciate them too. http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showpo...amp;postcount=1

thanks everyone. -
I'd love to see that too, I think I've asked in the past. I'd be curious to see pics straight out of camera and then with post processing. I know Ash posted one a couple of years ago and it was amazing, a little girl sitting under a tree became suddenly very magical and would be enough to make you believe in fairies. The most I can manage is a bit of cropping, sharpening and or contrast, that's about it.

Or how about this? Pity it's sold out. http://mycameratoys.myshopify.com/collecti...usb-flash-drive

Women Injured And Animals Killed In Overnight Fires (caboolture Qld)
Kirislin replied to Boronia's topic in In The News
I check here often hoping for an update. Has there been any more news since Jed had a setback a couple of days ago, have I missed one? I am thinking of you Jed and really hope you can turn the corner soon and have the worst behind you. Each day will just be a little bit better. -
Especially after reading the info page I put the link to. It says although they're called ear mites they're not just in ears, they can be anywhere. It mentions treating the base of their tails because when they curl up to sleep their heads are near their tails and they can re infect their ears. Sounds like the treatment needs to be fairly specific, not just a drop of something behind the ears to treat the whole dog but you need to treat the specific areas of infection. I've learnt something today.

It really does sound like ear mites. Perhaps they just keep getting re infected with them. http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?c=2+2091&aid=734

Next time ring your neighbours, that will get them out of bed, and then tell them you think they have a prowler.

Ideas For Keeping The Oldies Extra Warm This Winter...
Kirislin replied to redangel's topic in General Dog Discussion
I completely agree, Feather (whippet) has her own furry cat igloo which she loves and of course I've mentioned them many times, my crappy old cardboard boxes are the absolute favourite beds around here. Tape them up and then cut a small round entrance hole, stuff them full of warm blankets and cover with a blanket over the top. They're usually about 5 or 6 degrees (at least) warmer than the room temp. Oh yes and you can write silly love messages on them too. -
Can you at least ask them to send you a copy on a cd or dvd? What does PC mean, is that just personal computer and why do people specify PC or mac, aren't there many brands of pc's? I am sure I've mentioned many times I am a computer dummy.

It's way too cold and wet to come right outside without good cause. Puck, and then Puck and Penny just making sure they're not missing out on anything. Taken with 100mm macro.

we need to know what time, what channel. I dont want to miss it but I cant sit at home all day watching ads :D Often ads are on youtube, I dont know how that is done whether by the companies or by private people obsessed with ads. I hope this one makes it though.
-
I took this one ages ago but I quite like it.
-
That took its time. Have you heard anymore on the actual making of the ad. I cant wait to see it.

18 Month Old Female Staffordshire Terrier Always Hungry
Kirislin replied to scolly's topic in General Dog Discussion
some dogs are just gutses. I have a whippet who will bolt his food and eat as much as he possibly can. Even as a tiny puppy he was a greedy guts. When the time came to assess the litter he was just a big fat smooth shapeless blob. You will probably always have to be careful not to overfeed your puppy because she will tell you she is constantly on the verge of starvation. -
great photos! I love frogs. :D
