a local idiot who owns American bulldogs once challenged me to race my whippets against his dog because he insisted it was actually even faster than a greyhound so would thrash my whippets. I didn't take him up on it because his dog was terrifying and I'm sure would have attacked any other dog that it could reach. If they're that fast why are we racing greyhounds? We should be racing American bulldogs. :laugh:

It's just not something you'd ever factor in, I wouldn't anyway. I would imagine they taste awful but the silly duffers were probably competing with each other and so gobbled them down. Geeze I chuck mine in the garden, and my dogs eat just about anything, but they wouldn't touch coffee grounds. How is the other dog now?

that sounds really nasty. Take a photo of your wound for us. As to the lens that's one of the main reasons people have filters on their lenses, better the filter cracks than the lens glass. I've seen lenses that still take photos through really cracked filters. I hope there's no serious damage to you or the camera and lens

I watched that program Life on Us, I think it was called. It said the lice we get on our heads are very different to pubic lice. Pubic lice are most closely related to the lice found on..............gorillas!!!! What does that tell us!!

I wonder if these cruel contests might even encourage idiot owners to with hold necessary treatment just to keep the dog ugly, for example skin conditions.

This dickhead needs to be charged with cruelty, the authorities have all the proof they need just from the 2 photos posted here.

what about having his "bathers" collar for when he goes to the beach, and his going out collar for when you want him to look spiffy. I used to have a plastic bridle for my horse that he only wore when I took him to the beach, I called it his bathers.

No Dasher is actually older than Neko, he's a very different style and line though and is smaller with a more domed head. He was so confident and outgoing though, a delightful nature who stole everyones heart.

geeze I wish I hadn't looked at these photos. The dog with the short back looks alot like the Akita named Pig posted recently. Might be the same condition, and the creep holding the poor little (blind?) crested by the skin on its back!!

Yesterday was another milestone for Neko, although I didn't realise until I saw the photos and then overnight...... she's come into her first season. My baby's not a baby anymore.

We had a few lure problems yesterday and she caught it in all 3 runs she had. In some ways it was disappointing, but for Neko it was great, she gave it a good killing every time. I've got lots of shots of her throttling it
