I dont think the above shot shows him turing just that foot, you're not completely over the top of him. We can see his shoulder, ribs and front foot too, you're slightly over to his left side. It might be that both are a little turned out but it also might just be a stage he's going through and that they'll straighten up, or perhaps it's his conformation and not anything actually wrong with him. I've got one foot turned out a bit more than the other, and I've got through life just fine. I suppose I might not have won a beauty contest because of it. Recently I've become obsessed with Nekos (Italian Greyhound) conformation being so different from my whippets and so it affects the way she runs, which is nothing like the exact running machine style of the whippet. She's got turned out front feet and to a whippet persons eye she's cow hocked. If she was scaled up to whippet size, I wouldn't take her out in public!! (kidding) Her running style is cute and comical when I compare it to a whippet, and for a while I thought there was something wrong with her, but now I've realised I have to chill and just accept that she's got very different conformation and that is how she runs. As long as your boy is sound, not sore or limping, try not to obsess, like I do

Snarling snails and mute mutts, what an interesting world you live in. :)

What hope is there for us? and by that I mean all life.

this is what Neko did when she discovered death. I posted these months ago and had put a warning on the title and enclosed them in spoilers but still got complaints after people clicked anyway and then didn't like what they'd been warned they would see, but since this topic is pretty clear I'll risk it.

Can we take him to the vet and make him better Mum?

this is exactly the same as Penny and I've started giving her chunkers. She can pick them up. -

I've got an old whippet who was having trouble picking up her food when it had never been a problem before. I've resorted to feeding her Chunkers which I would normally consider junk food for dogs, but since she's old and she can manage to pick them up I'm just happy for her to eat. They are firm little lumps and apparently, by doggy standards, they taste good. I mostly give her the chicken and scrambled eggs variety. -

It said server not found. I'm not sure if that's a problem with my computer or your link but just thought I'd let you know. -
be careful when putting the vetwrap on. It's very stretchy so dont pull it too much and make it too tight on her.
-
all mine love their tucker and would easily be fat if I let them. I'm amazed at how little they need to eat to maintain a healthy weight.
-
Not just labradors that are overweight in the show ring. I've seen fat whippets and IGs too.
-
they've got such funny startled looks on their faces. Very cute indeed.

great shots, lucky you with new long long lens.

she should be sacked. Why are we (members) paying so much to this organisation every year if this is what they say to people?
-
She is supposed to sell her pup on the limited register and make sure you understand it is not to me bred from. She's not abiding by the code of practice.

Mentoring Program Tackles High Veterinarian Suicide Rate

this is a shock to me! Like so many have already said, I had no idea. that's terrible Teebs, I'm sorry to read about your vet. We perhaps tend to think we pay our money for services rendered and that's the end of it as far as the vet is concerned, but I hadn't considered it could take such a toll on them. A few years ago I made a calendar for my vet with all his clients (of mine) that he's treated. He loved it. I think I need to make another to thank him and let him know how much I appreciate him, he's only young and works so hard. He lost all his possessions in the Black Saturday fires but continued to work through it never charging any of the victims. -
there's a lady at the park with a recent rescue dog that is supposedly a whippet corgi x. It has no tail at all. just a funny little tuft of hair.

George R. R Martin Wants To Kill You. To Save Wolves!

that wolf in the first photo looks like an alpine dingo! I suppose they are wolves. I wonder if they have dingos over there. -
the brindle was my fave too.

I went on a long drive yesterday, about 400ks all up, so was keen to get to where I was heading, but I saw this in the distance and thought it was worth pulling over to get a photo of. I asked if he showed them and he said no. Some were retired but all were pets. Not too often I see Afghan hounds as pets these days. I thought they were lovely. on Flickr on Flickr

spectacular headline but not exactly believable, but how distressing for the relatives of the poor victim.
