I have to agree with this. They aren't the only threat but I'm getting very sick of other people's cats crapping in my garden, stirring up my dogs and and spraying on my doorstep, let alone eating birds. If my pets have to be contained other people's should be too.

I have worked in a shelter so totally understand the importance of desexing for most pet owners, however I agree that there are risks and benefits that go both ways and there should never be anything wrong with being fully informed.

My Aussie was pretty much full grown between 7 and 12 months and hasn't changed since, but my Anatolian kept filling out (not fat but just muscle) till he was about 4-5. I think it depends on the breed.
