Our guys are 6 and almost 7 and both have brilliant teeth :) I always notice if we haven't given as many raw meaty bones as usual they aren't as white.

That is freakin adorable. The little leg lifts

As someone who has worked in pounds the idea that the public ( obviously not everyone) don't care is, frankly, BS. The amount of judgement and harassment staff members deal with really suggests otherwise.

Unknown Dogs Approaching Each Other To Greet

I am not out walking my dogs so that you can use them to train yours!!! People can go to dog schools for that sort of exposure. Can't say I've ever had anyone thank me after Poppy has growled at their rude dog either!! The dogs I don't see out in public are only going to be a problem for me if they get out. Completely agree. My dogs are taken out but not to offlead dog parks or to specifically meet other dogs. They are both perfectly behaved around other dogs. Are my dogs the problem?? I think not. -
Unknown Dogs Approaching Each Other To Greet

I'd say you're right in general but the assumption here is that the dogs you allow yours to approach are stable. I'd prefer not to take the risk, it seems sensible not to take a dog aggressive dog to an off lead dog park but people do it all the time for different reasons. -
I saw this yesterday, he's such a gorgeous dog :)

We rarely have intoxicated people around our dogs but on the rare occasion we do they still don't act like that! Our friends even when having a few beers are always respectful around the dogs. In a situation like that I'd remove the dog from the situation asap. I would imagine Lili at least would get a bit worried in that kind of situation. Not sure about Mo as he's much more laid back.

I don't even think betting on human sports has served humans or sports, well. At least humans have a choice whether or not they play the sport though. Yep. I don't like any type of gambling. Its a weird world when there are people starving yet others are just handing over their cash on a whim....boggles my mind. At least if it's on humans in sport as you say, they have a choice.

I agree with gruf. Betting on animals in any way is in really bad taste in my opinion.

Sale Of Animals On Gumtree

Yeah I don't think banning everyone is right. -
Personally I think in the 21st century any form of sport where animals are trained to perform for no other reason than human greed and entertainment is repulsive. Among the tens of thousands of racing greyhounds across the country i'd hazard a guess that only a tiny percentage are waking up inside a nice warm home this morning. Most of them will be waking up in a tiny concrete cell with a sack bed and a coat on if they're lucky. For our greed, entertainment and viewing pleasure. Yup. Agree.

I agree just tell her but make sure she knows everything was handled and maybe suggest some extra training, even NILIF kind of stuff she can do at home. My Aussie would probably freak out at a child throwing a tantrum too but she'd smother them in kisses  she's very easily affected by people's emotions and behaviour.

Yep. Just awful

SBT, Greyhound, Labrador, Golden Retriever, Rottweiler, though Rotti may be too big, Bull Terrier. Quite a few breeds would suit I think :)

I don't confine my puppies or dogs in pens or crates and have never had an issue with digging or other behavioural issues. The dogs have free range of the house and never destroy anything. Pups also have pretty much free run but nothing is left in their reach, I've had one destructo pup and learnt a lot after him :)

Maybe try a breed rescue?
-
Will the breeder take the puppy back? That would be my first port of call.
-
Is the puppy from a breeder?

My Aussie still has hers, my Anatolians rear ones were removed when he was castrated. I didn't request it the shelter just did it. They left his front ones. In general I agree with gruf, as long as they're kept short I see no reason to remove them unless the dog has had ongoing issues with them of course.

Good to know!

Yes pounds can also come under the council they are contracted to, so that's another option too.

Pretty sure DPI is it. Where I've worked we use paper towel disinfectants/bleach to clean shelves etc and mops for floors. I see no issue with rags as long as they're using a new one for each cage.

Ouch. It does look like a bite to me. Definitely get him checked out if you can as you don't want him to get an infection.
