  1. Looks like some type of bulldog cross yeah
  2. She sounds like our chi x, at 17 she started walking into rooms and just staring at the wall, obviously a bit senile, she was also very wobbly and pretty blind and deaf. Its so hard because they still have good days, we made the decision when her tail stopped wagging. I don't envy you K, its so hard, but I am sure you will know when its time.
  3. Yeah same here. Or just say the kids cant go outside.
  4. I just won't use vets who aren't up to date with current recommendations. It just makes them look incompetent.
  5. We had some kids next door knock on the door to ask if they could have their ball back, I said sure I'll go get it just as Mosley walked up beside me. The kids took one look at him and bolted back hoime :laugh:I threw their ball back over of course
  6. Yay! Good news! :) all the best for the removal, poor Daisy!
  7. Our little chi x littermates used to do this too. My mum worked very varied hours including sleepovers (disability work in residences) and even if we didn't know when she was due home the dogs would start barking and being weird about half an hour before she came home.
  8. Hope they're both feeling better soon don :) poor munchkins
  9. Happy birthday Stan!!! Hope you all have a lovely day :)
  10. Id be emailing their own info over to them and asking what the issue is. It clearly states what these dogs did is enough to declare them. Not that you should even have to, but it sounds as though this ranger either has some kind of vested interest, or she's an idiot.
  11. In Vic the vets have to send the dog to the pound . Sometimes chip details are out of date and the pound is where owners will look. I argue with people who want to hold onto dogs all the time at work, people aren't going to find their dog in someone elses backyard.
  12. When Lili was at puppy pre school she coughed up a liver treat into the middle of the circle we were sitting in and the border collie pup next to us launched out and snaffled it up haha she also did a big vom as she came out of a tunnel at agility once, she's a feral haha
  13. Lili is an extreme pooer, we walk her before breakfast and she will do at least 2 poos O-o Mosley, however is a fecal eater, cats, possums, birds and his own, (if its poop he's having some), and a crotch hound, so he wins in the embarrassing stakes.
  14. I'd be asking to speak with the rangers manager, and their manager, and so on. I would take it as far as possible. Not saying they are doing anything wrong as far as legislation goes, but why wait until a person IS hurt? And weren't you injured?! or does it not count because youre over 18? This response is rubbish and is not in line with community expectations.
  15. We have a barker, he's an anatolian X maremma and he can be a challenge in the suburbs. We basically keep him inside whenever we're out and he sleeps inside at night. He doesn't sound anywhere near as full on as this though, he will bark at other dogs barking in the neighborhood or cars pulling up near the house, walk the perimter of the property letting out the occasional woof (so annoying  ) basically alert barking, but as soon as we shush him and he feels he's done his job he stops. I agree maybe seeing a behaviorist or a good trainer would help, he can't be happy being this reactive. Good luck with it I know how stressful barky dogs can be.
  16. Sorry but dogs that do something like this should be euthanized. I don't give a shit about this woman's circumstances.
  17. Good eye! It's at Ascot Vale station :) I thought so!
  18. She's gorgeous! That train station looks very familiar :)! Is it in the inner west??
