I avoid dog parks, it's bad enough walking our two around the suburb. There is a pit bull x that launches itself going nuts at the front fence (which it could easily clear if it wanted to), a SWF and two other little terrier x buggers which have rushed us on a number of occasions, snapping and snarling while my dogs just look on like WTF?, a rotti cross and GSD which try to leap their front fence to eat us.....and that's just a few examples. It's ridiculous. I hope your little man is ok.

Again, completely avoidable

Playful Dog Mouthes (bites) Neighbour Pruning Over Fence.
Dame Aussie replied to Pailin's topic in General Dog Discussion
Yes you are. I have a very mouthy dog but he has never ever broken skin regardless of how excited he gets. Wounds that require medical treatment by irrigation are BITE wounds. You dog has bitten your neighbour. This is the reality. You need a good behaviourist now, no delaying. They have said they are contacting someone and I think its obvious from the post they're taking it seriously? I also wouldn't lean over a fence into a yard with a dog. Good luck with it all, let us know how you go :) -
Oh, do you have any photos of Max Aussie3? :) We had a BC X kelpie when I was growing up. Bruno is my first dog as an adult though, and is my kids' first family dog. We love him to bits. A Boxer was a good choice for us. :D I found this one of him when I chose him :) I do have others I'll have a look. I think after looking at this picture I was less than 2 aswell! Sorry pic is old and blurry!

My first dog was Max, a boxer bred by friends. They told my parents they could have a pup, I was only about 2 and they sat me down with the litter and let me choose one. I chose the pick of the litter  we had him till he was 11, he was pretty awesome :)

Borzoi In The New Big W Denim Ad?
Dame Aussie replied to RiverStar-Aura's topic in General Dog Discussion
Yes I just saw it and was wondering too! -
Can you take dogs on public transport in Victoria? On regional trains only small dogs in a crate. It's sizeist!
-
If they're calm and not causing a problem what's the issue? I don't want to see a dog or be near a dog when I'm dining out. The issue is people cant and won't control them and think it's fine for them to approach others, block walk ways, sniff and lick and eat off the café plates. If you want to dine with your dog do it at home or feel free to eat in the leash free or somewhere else that dogs are permitted. I also don't want to ride next to one on public transport, share a hotel room or a plane trip. I also do not buy into the dogs v kids garbage that's trotted out, for the simple fact that children are not dogs. You've never come across a well-behaved dog at a cafe WIW? I find that surprising. Also, I hope you never plan on moving outside of Australia (especially to Europe or the US), you'd absolutely hate it  Yes I have to wonder about the cafes one frequents if that's what they're seeing. I go to cafes a lot and have NEVER seen any of the things described.

x a billion I'd much rather dogs than children in a cafe! Yep, me too.

I rest my case. :) Sorry mita, exactly what case is that? I'm not sure if I am one of your 'no idea owners' or one that may have an idea??? Im sure mita means you're that you're one of the good ones :)
