  1. I would say both are at fault for not having their dogs under control. Small dog shouldn't have approached and owner of large dog should have better control also.
  2. Yeah, the owner of these dogs should be paying for any medical attention you need to
  3. Oh Stan  he's resilient! You gotta give him that! I'm glad the woman at fault is going to pay, that's one thing you don't have to worry about at least. Good to hear Maddie is recovering well. Look after yourself aswell
  4. How are you this morning? I hope the hounds are both doing well
  5. Me too, if I was closer I'd do the same. I can't even think of my dogs being attacked like that, I can only imagine how you feel
  6. Shit are you ok? That's horrid cuddles for the hounds, I hope they are both ok
  7. We give hearts and kidneys and tripe if available.
  8. LOL good luck to them with that attitude! Its like asking someone if their kid is circumcised and why/why not.
  9. I prefer not to desex. I have no problem with others doing so. What I don't like is vets who preach the positive effects of desexing without even mentioning any of the negatives (eg. Spey incontinence, certain cancers, growth problems etc). They need a much more balanced view IMO.
  10. Yes the slow down bowls are great. When we got Mosley as a pup he used to absolutely inhale his food, I've never seen anything like it and bloat was always on my mind. Bloat is usually very uncomfortable for them, check out some videos on YouTube so you know what to look for :) also if they're bloating their tummy will sound hollow if you tap it.
  11. The microchip details are what you need to be on re ownership, but yes the breeder may need to apply for the papers which you can then use to transfer into your name.
  12. Oh how horrible I really despair of humans
  13. Oh Ams  you should see me trying to get into bed. As soon as I sit on the edge of the bed to apply lip cream and handcream, the movement gets underway. Jeune is desperate to sit on me, Myrtie starts her Madam Lash girations (see old, X-rated thread about this ), Bunter likes to move to where my feet are supposed to be, Danny starts his old man growling and snapping because everyone is disturbing him, Tamar is confused as to what is expected of her and, generally speaking, I have to consider all their wants, but they have no consideration for mine . I should have a video camera in the ceiling to record it all - quite ridiculous really :D :D Jesus  I can't believe you fit on with them all  When I still lived with my mum our two chi's used to migrate from her bed to my bed to my brothers bed each night
  14. A lot of the spot ons aren't safe for dogs with MDR1 sensitivity. I use sentinel spectrum and capstar on my Aussie.
  15. Totally agree. You did a lot more than many others would.
  16. Lili smiles when she sleeps too...soooo beautiful
  17. Maddie....I have two rubber dogs I'll post pics when I'm on the computer
  18. I agree with Haredown. What if they don't want to sell the dog?
