  1. Umm Warrior is 20 months old now and my loungeroom looks like that most days. Personally I don't see a problem

    Good Boy Peach!

I saw it on Face Book, thought it was
  3. free play is more important as they will stop when tired, or should! I used to just walk my pups the length of a couple of houses at first and slowly work up to around the block - about 10 minutes by around 6 months. 30 minutes by around 12 months. And would often sit by the sidelines when at obedience classes for a breather half way through. Training at home was 5 minutes max couple times a day.
  4. these are lovely shows, it's a pity I am working, can highly recommend them
  5. yes I have one, I find it very good to hold and handle. Thought it might have been a bit awkward but it isn't. oooh can we have a test of this on some Fauvey claws next time we catch up? I want to buy one because Fauves have nails that grow SOOOOOO fast and if it works well I'm going to buy one. Don't want to invest without seeing how to use it and how it works if that makes sense. yep I'll bring it to the shows with me. Best thing is it holds it's charge for ages and you can't over charge it.
  6. How do you know all this? And what a good job of ruining a dog's joints by walking such young pups for 5 or 6 hours a day. Either these are your dogs or you are blindly believing everything this "customer" is telling you. Interesting that you also own a dog who wants to chase skateboarders.

  8. As long as he's careful & he doesn't accidently let the dog escape via the front door, then he could be in trouble...but I agree they are hardly going to inspect where he is sleeping at midnight! He is actually pretty careful. If its a stinking hot night and he has his window open, his dog is tied to a long lead overnight. and you know this how? The "owner" told you? The same person who is carrying the muzzle instead of putting it on his dog?
  9. It's the skateboarders fault of course.
  10. of course it is hurting humans. Why do you keep making excuses for this dog? Im not making excuses. Im telling it how it is. When i have seen it go for skateboarders its intent is to grab the skateboard. In this process hurt could come to the skateboarder by falling over or getting an ankle bite. Muzzle would solve this. How do you think its hurting humans when it hasn't hurt any human in its lifetime? and if the human hits their head on the footpath, breaks their ankle in the fall? Get real, the dog needs to be PTS and the sooner the better.

  12. The smooth foxy didn't do much for me but I really liked the wire. The border was very nice and so was the Jack (sorry, none of this 'Russell' terrier nonsense; it's a Jack Russell). My thoughts exactly :) Why did they drop the Jack? same for dropping Australian from the Silky?
  13. how old was the pup when sold and when PTS? Did you have a contract and if so what did it say? what score did the parents have? did you explain to the new owners about the disease and how they had to take care as well?
  14. I have owned more yellow collars and leads then red. Yes there is always the exception to the rule. But majority more people would have red than yellow. My Dad actually tried to buy a yellow collar for his dog and couldnt get one I have heaps of yellow stuff and I don't even like the colour Compare that to red.. I have a single reddish-purple collar that one dog was wearing when she came in. might be a greyhound thing :D but I have to confess my yellow stuff was used on the GSD's. I only have a brace lead now in yellow.

  16. R.I.P Sooki sorry for your loss Tralee, I remember your posts from when you first got Sooki, treasure your memories
  17. You can not help this dog, it is beyond your knowledge. The dog is dangerous and should be PTS.
  18. I don't think yellow is the right colour. Should be red if you are going to do soemthing. Red means stop. Simple really.
  19. Fern's sire line goes back to 1890 something (29 generations), her dam line back to 1820 something (35 generations)
  20. this is the Greyhound Database mainly racebred but plenty of showbred on it as well. It's how I know my current show girl's pedigree goes back further then the race boy I had. There is another greyhound database but I find it unreliable as it's often down and don't use it.
  21. No and No and it doesn't matter where you live.
  22. and a lot of dogs "attacked" don't become aggressive. Look at the age of the dog when the supposed attack happened. 12 months old, just becoming fully mature. what ever happened the dog is now dangerous and the owner needs to step up to the mark and muzzle the dog while out and about, just not carry the damn thing around. Too bad for the other dog/skateboard rider if they meet coming around a blind corner. It's way too late to discipline the dog, which most likley wouldn't have worked anyway. It's a dangerous dog and he needs to abide by the dangerous dog laws and that's what you should be telling the owner. And if he won't comply then you need to alert the council to that fact or you are going to have death and injuries to dogs and people on your conscience.
