if you can't visit personally then, if you know someone going OS who you trust, they can check out the dog for you. This is also valuable for importing FS. I'm lending my video camera to my trusty friend so we can discuss things when she gets back :laugh: I've been in my breed for 6 years and right from the start I knew some sort of importing was going to be needed so have been looking and networking ever since.

Lots of dogs where those coloured collars and the general public wouldn't have a clue that they might mean soemthing different. If your dog was wearing one and attacked another dog you would still be liable.

my thought too, great way to get your dog killed, especially if it is allowed to roam around on it's own, as it seems to do.

it's what I do for my pups. C3 vacc at 8 and 12 weeks, then booster 12 months after the 12 week shot, so booster at 15 months.

Oz Trail deluxe compact. I have a dodgy back and stuffed shoulder but can put it up easily on my own. I just take my time and often people will help you. I recommend the deluxe compact cause it has thicker legs and roof "bits". I always peg it down and use the guy ropes no matter if it is as still as anything. The Oz Trail compact is smaller and lighter but I went with the deluxe compact cause I can't afford to buy new ones too often and I figure it will last longer. It fits in my Mazda 323 hatchback in the back with the seat down. ETA, if you find you hate it you would have no trouble selling it on. I can have it in the back of my car and still fit the two greyhounds in with it.

well if we are being blunt I have been wondering what the temperament is of the OP's dog that everyone else's dog has to be kept well away? Surely the rescue wouldn't have sold a dog into this situation (small area, several other dogs living very close by) without making sure the dog was ok to live in that enviroment?
