  2. Fern: 14 weeks old. nearly 5 months old 15 months old 2 5 and 1/2
  3. Good question Clyde, I am also happy to donate if needed. me three
  4. just to be clear. Are you saying if there has never been a family member who bloated then your dog will never bloat? How far back do you go in the pedigree?
  5. Taken last weekend. Warrior at 12 and 1/2 months old
  6. Can you edit your photo of the pedigree? You have the breeders home address clearly shown.
  7. i disagree that your advice was 'helpful' must be my attitude again huh? werent you the one carrying on in another thread about someone needing qualifications to offer advice on these forums? lol.. um sorry that giving the links to the diseases your pup should have been tested for was unhelpful, it seems you would have preferred not to know. I do still hope for the dogs sake that all is well with her.
  8. thank you for the productive comment rebannne.. yawn attitude much? So sorry I tried to help you when you wouldn't help yourself
  9. any attitude you may think i have is a result of the attitude directed at me from others. it is clear i am the target due to being new and for having made a choice many regard as poor however please do not act surprised when new posters such as myself react to the type of comments i would deem unhelpful at best im very happy to move on whippet. i mean no offence or harm at all you have not been a target at all, people have been trying to help you, you just didn't like what was being said, the only attitude was from you.
  10. of course puppies can consume calcium from bones, what do you think they eat in the wild? Sorry as there is no such breed there is no indication of size.
  11. ] well i hope so and im sure you do not mean do this to however the implication that its a long shot is a bit strange no implication at all, as I said I don't breed SBT's, I have no idea how much a gamble you are taking. It was a genuine wish for the puppy to remain healthy and happy.
  12. the so called breeders would most likely sell it to some other person. If you are talking about after you have the pup tested and it comes back as affected well you are in a spot of bother. I'd be taking her back now and buying from properly health tested parents. Sure you are fond of her already but are you ready to deal with a blind and/or sick dog? But you already have collected the pup and as the breeder hasn't bothered to health test who knows what you would get back in the way of a refund etc. Or you may be one of the lucky ones and your pup will remain healthy and happy.
  13. you pup could be affected or a carrier, so it could be blind at an early age or dead at even a younger age.
  14. I don't breed Staffordshire Bull Terriers, I gave you a club website that said what happens to the dogs if they are affected cause you said you don't know about the diseases.
  15. http://www.sbtcwa.com.au/hereditary.html
  16. how old is the dog? Could it be "teenage" acne? I had a GSD years ago that got a rash in the armpit area and that's what the vet called it.
  17. I know what I would have done to the little monster if he had been mine. I have never had one of my male dogs pee on me inside or out and they would have been harshly punished if they had dared to mark me. This isn't a toilet training lapse. Your dog marked you.
  18. did you ask the breeder about the health tests that should have been done? I hope you and your pup are one of the good stories and Sweep lives a long happy life with you.
  19. I always thought if you actually gave the kennel cough part as a needle they did need a follow up in 4 weeks time. If you gave the kennel cough as a nasal spray they only needed the one. I would check with the breeder again as to what way the KC was given. If your dog needs a 2nd shot try and get just the KC, not the other stuff which is not needed again.
  20. why is it so hard to believe that some dogs are not born perfect? I think you've misunderstood, I could ask you, why do you think all aggressive dogs have bad temperaments? I was just suggesting one possible reason for their aggressive behaviour :) Just as you were suggesting that they could just have poor temperaments. I never mentioned temperament at all. Just cause they might like their own space does not mean they are bad tempered. have you not heard of DINOS?
