  1. Woo hoo, IOP has dropped right down to 12 in his right eye I was really worried as it seemed even redder than last week, but that may be caused by an inflammation from the new drug which we will have to monitor, but at least his IOP isn't rising and hopefully we don't have to worry about surgery for a little while yet :) He has an anti-inflammatory now to add into the mix and re-check again next week.......
  2. More Poppy pics :) 'Scuse the crappy pic, but she often sits like this looking out to the garden - bum up on the arm of the sofa just chilling out  My baldy babies She was sunbathing like this for a while  And using her ball as a pillow - too cute!
  3. Looks like he's landed on his feet and having a great time in his new home! He's just gorgeous :D
  4. Ok, thanks Kirty :) No he's not - he's from the UK Chinese Crested rescue group, we brought Louis and Daisy over with us when we moved. Poor bugger has had more than his fair share of issues
  5. Yay, they are gorgeous, such happy smiley faces :D If you ever head over to the beaches near Cott or City Beach we should have a meet up :)
  6. He mentioned surgery if these latest drops don't help, but not sure what type of surgery? I'll send a list of questions with my OH when she takes him next week. Have you had experience with surgery? I'm not sure how I feel at the moment about trying to treat it with surgery, I kind of feel like Louis is on borrowed time after his IMHA, so wonder if it would be better to just have that eye removed and stop any discomfort from it. This is his ophthalmologist. .
  7. Thanks Kirty. He's been on Azopt and Prednefrin since the beginning, but the Prednefrine was swapped to Acular a few weeks back. The Acular has now been stopped, Prednefrin restarted and Lumigan added for the right eye. Revisit in a week
  8. So poor Louis has been back to the ophthalmologist today and the pressure has increased in his right eye He was checked out a few weeks ago as I thought the eye looked 'larger' and the pressure had increased by a couple of points in the right eye, but I noticed it was looking redder so OH took him back today and the IOP is now 34. I was just wondering, would his increased activity from having Poppy in the house and a lot of playing between them have had any effect on the IOP?
  9. This is our nightly ritual - after last pees, Poppy has a snuggle in the bed with OH while I get ready for bed. I then need to try and wake Poppy to get her warmer jumper on before she goes into her crate - she is so sleepy already that she won't wake up and I have to try and get a jumper on a fast asleep, floppy puppy
  10. Gorgeous, you should post pics of them more often :) Which park is that? It looks nice :)
  11. That's freaky  They are uber cute
  12. It's funny how they have breed specific play isn't it - crestie play involves lots of head butting from the side and trying to roll on each other  We usually go to Leighton beach, just south of Cottesloe - it can get busy on weekends but so far I haven't seen any issues, mostly well behaved dogs there it seems :) It can get big piles of stinky seaweed on it at certain times of the year though!
  13. North Wales is so beautiful, I think we went down Aberdovey way on a field trip once. We lived on Anglesey and if the summer was warm the water was gorgeous, we would often go snorkelling but wetsuits were definitely needed after summer!
  14. Thanks Snook :) Poppy was 7 months old yesterday and has put on a whole kilo during the 6 weeks we have had her. She is developing well and filling out nicely - starting to develop some thighs at last! I don't think she'd had much exercise or a particularly nutritious diet before we got her, and she is now loving raw She has formed a great bond with Louis which is so lovely to see, and it's great that Louis now has a play mate as Daisy doesn't do play at home. Poppy and Louis have mega play sessions each day now. She loves beach time with Daisy and runs round like a little crazy thing - she is doing well with meeting new dogs at the beach, everything from great danes to little ones like herself. No other dogs run quite like she does (think mega greyhound zoomies style) so people just stop and watch her and ask "what it that?!" She had her first 'advanced puppy' training class on Sunday and did well after a hesitant start due to it being early, cold and damp  Here's a few recent phone snaps.... Beach time with Daisy. So tired after her first training class she fell asleep on the manky door matt Getting some winter rays with her big bro. Hanging over the edge to eat grass  Sleepy pup after an exhausting day being a crestie
  15. Thanks guys :) Although I'm not a surfer, I love watching big waves and could stand there all day watching the ocean :) I did used to body board years ago in North Wales in the UK when I was at uni, but that was when I was younger, fitter and there were no great white sharks around
  16. Surfs Up! We don't get huge surf at the metro beaches in Perth, but we had a decent swell come in last week so I took the chance to get a few shots with the Tamron. Full set here - https://flic.kr/s/aHsjZdfuod :)
  17. New toy :D Have fun playing with it, you've got some lovely shots there :)
  18. That is priceless, what a gorgeous pair :D
  19. Poor pooches  They are just too gorgeous grumpette
  20. Fritz is doing so well! They look they are having so much fun racing through all that mud :D
  21. When we first moved into our rental, Indy and Daisy got quite a lot of fleas - I think because the property had been empty for a while and next door's feral cats were in the garden a fair bit. Anyway Frontline was useless so we tried Advantage and this really seemed to get on top of the problem fairly quickly - may be worth a try? http://www.friendsfurever.com.au/FurOPedia/advantage-for-dogs.aspx
  22. Thanks Grumpette, she is a Siamese and boy does she know it!
  23. That's a perfect little web Weibritty :) 26/52 - Colourful Lorikeet. 27/52 - Little and Large :) 28/52 - Indy
