So this little sweetie joined our household a couple of weeks back :D She was being sold on gumtree by someone who had to get rid of her asap and couldn't desex her first and had lots of people wanting her for breeding. She was sold as being 7 months old, but I tracked down her original 'breeder' via Google/old gumtree ads and she was only 5.5 months old. The person I got her from had only had her since April, so not sure where she was after leaving the breeder and her getting her in April, so we may be her 3rd home already The intention was to get her vaccinated and desexed and then out to a new home via a reputable rescue....... that failed big time  She is such a happy, well rounded little dog - nothing has phased her so far, she fitted in here so quickly and the other two dogs and Indy accepted her really well from the moment she arrived, so she is staying :) She was spayed on Friday and has training classes booked for July which I'm really looking forward too :) So here she is, she's tiny compared to my other two giant cresties! She was 3.2kg when she arrived. Poppy poppet, the 'hairy hairless' crestie

I hate this competition, the poor winner And yes the owner of Sweetpea needs stringing up by his boll**ks I've heard too many times when asked what breed I have "oh Chinese Crested - aren't they the ones that always win that ugliest dogs competition"

Keeping My Future Pugs Young And Healthy

Yeah, I have a feeling he was talking about diseases in general because we had been talking about the fact that I had chosen not to worm with chemicals or vaccinate etc Interestingly my vet said the opposite, she said as people from a wide range of suburbs take their dogs to the beaches that it can be a higher risk area (but we were talking about my immune compromised boy at the time). -
If you trial Lightroom and like it, you can buy the software download from B&H for $130 USD, or go for a Creative Cloud subscription via Adobe. I love Lightroom and found it pretty intuitive to learn - the 'non destructive' editing element is brilliant! http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/983326-REG/adobe_65215298_photoshop_lightroom_5_software.html https://www.adobe.com/au/products/photoshop-lightroom.html

Congratulations, hope it goes smoothly for all involved! Ah, hi again

Thanks Birkat :) The fun runs require no previous experience. My friend brought this little one along who won't even chase a ball, but he instantly took to it and chased the lure like a pro!

It was a challenge taking pics periwinkle, I took about 900 and ended up with about 100 ok ones! Did I get any of your dog? Photos in the link :) https://www.flickr.com/gp/56265770@N02/4p09YM/

He is just stunning! Happy Birthday Wolff

There is waiting around as that is the nature of the event, only one dog can run at a time, but I was there with my camera and enjoyed watching the other dogs run. There was a great feel to the day - a friend ran her dog in the afternoon 'fun runs' and had two runs with about an hour wait in between each one. It was lovely to see all the different breeds having a go and enjoying themselves :)

Seeing as there is a bit of life in here, thought I'd give you the heads up about a lure coursing event this Sunday in Guildford. I went to the last one a few weeks ago and it was great fun :D https://www.facebook.com/groups/242717789174231/

Facebook I think :)

Ok that was very cute, well done on him for trying :) I have attempted similar on little skinks and geckos that I find floating on my pool surface - I haven't been successful yet though

Really pepe The vets advice should have been taken, poor thing should have been humanly euthanised instead of now waiting for her to get too heavy for her body to cope with

Awww Happy Birthday Handsome Hank
