  1. I remembered where I got my guys snoods and suits from :) Total body protection  http://www.dormercrafts.co.uk/designerdogcoats.html
  2. What total and utter BS, just ludicrous Poor Tyson and his handler
  3. Krispy Kreme donuts, chili and nachos and a petting zoo - sounds perfect :D
  4. lol, I say we'll get a Sphynx one day to match the dogs  Thanks everyone, we think she is pretty darn cute too Some more phone snaps from the past couple of nights... With her big bro :) Baldy Butts
  5. Yeah this was just meant to be a light-hearted thread.......
  6. Powderpuff Crestie? My cresties did well with my greyhound and cocker rampaging around :)
  7. As I got into bed last night, all the dogs were sound asleep already and I thought about those people who think crates are cruel and mean - yup my lot look very uncomfortable and stressed don't they  Daisy sleeps on top of Louis's crate at the foot of our bed. Louis sleeps on a sheepskin when it's cold. And Poppy snuggles under a duvet. p.s it's been quite chilly here at nights recently, hence all the clothes :)
  8. I add any new lens and serial number to my specified items list as soon as I can, just gives me a bit of piece of mind in case I drop anything!
  9. Oh those are beautiful, what a stunning snake!
  10. I think that is a bit of a fallacy really - a $50 thin piece of glass on a small mount at the end of lens will do nothing to protect it in a fall, the construction of the $1500 lens will do that. If anything you could end up with more damage due to the broken glass from the filter scratching the lens surface. Lens filters help keep your glass clean but do nothing to protect them from impact damage. Glad nothing it too seriously damaged T. Do you have your camera etc. on your household insurance so it is covered for accidental damage outside of the home?
  11. That is cuteness overload! What gorgeous pups and the ponies are just adorable
  12. Looks like they had an absolute blast in the snow!! Lovely pics :)
  13. I'm so sorry to read of your loss What an awful accident
  14. Nawwww, just lovely :) Congratulations! Sounds like Benny has landed in a super home, and just look at the fun he is having in the park :D
  15. Haha pers, you must have missed her intro thread in General - plenty of cuteness in there :D That's what I wondered - it's been years since I had one this age so didn't know if it was associated with teething? I had also wondered about heat, as we have the ducted AC on heat in the evenings at the moment... It's not frenetic scratching, but it is happening each evening
  16. Poppy (the new addition) has an itchy ear. When she was spayed last week I got my vet to check it out and she said all looks clear and fine. It's just one ear, I think she is teething at the moment and it's the one that is floppy. The other ear has stood up over the past couple of weeks. She is 6 months old and it only seems to bother her in the evening just before bedtime. She starts shaking her head and scratching it - it doesn't look red or smell any different to the other ear. Any suggestions? One up one down
  17. Happy Anniversary Mac I know exactly how you feel westiemum having celebrated the same recently for Louis - it's a wonderful feeling :D
  18. DD, I've been following Stella as I asked YG's advice before getting Poppy and we picked them up on the same day - they are the same age but Poppy is a tad bigger. She does amazing works for those little dogs! The next lure coursing meet here has a puppy run, so I'll give her a try down that :D
  19. I remembered some threads on POTN recently about this.... http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1372756&highlight=hyperdrive&page=2 http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1382601 Suggestions included 'Memory Card Back-up Devices' http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/buy/Stand-Alone-Data-Storage/ci/3369/N/4000227848 Hope that's some help :)
  20. Awwww thanks She's a little nekkid girl under that fuzz  I'll let her settle a bit more then off to the groomers to get her looking like a proper crestie :) Daisy and Louis used to fly along after my grey back in the UK! More pics you say? Ok ;) We call her the little Hyena  She's a mega snuggler! And a shoe stealer!!
  21. Yes they are, just love them to bits! Nice to see another crestie person around :)
  22. She is teeny compared to my two monsters, both originally from the UK crestie rescue club. The few I have seen over here are small, so I think she is within standard size wise. I contacted the original breeder via sms as I wanted to know if she'd had any vaccinations and wanted to know her age. She did respond and sent pics of the parents both of which certainly looked like pure crestie, but I guess I'll never know for sure.
  23. Thanks guys, quite smitten with her already! If she can keep still for a second I might get some 'proper' photos  I picked her up the same day Jo got Stella, similar age and size too. And that's why I couldn't bear the thought of her ending up with a puppy farmer or byb So far Cresties seem to be keeping out of the pet shops and gumtree in Perth.
