Ozzielioness, My heart goes out to you. What an truly aweful thing to happen to your families pet. Shudder to think what they must have had to do to her to make her turn from a placid girl into some sort of monster. Poor, sweet girl. And I too really hope this A$#% hole is caught a.s.a.p, by the owners cause the law is an absolute joke.

Oh wow. One hell of a story. Where are the tissues. My previous comment about a dog putting his life aside to help someone less fortunate isn't quite the case here. Juno was rescued, to inturn he rescues a little boy every chance he can. Just such a heartwarming story.

Grass Eating - Are They Sick?
BC Crazy replied to LOLAFOLATA's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I have 2 'grazers' as well. Neither of mine are sick. They eat grass on a daily basis. I will even pick it & they will eat it out of my hand but it has to be this certain type, not just any old grass will do. LOL Only the nice new, young stuff  -
Awwww !!!!! Just a beautiful photo. Real lump in the throat stuff. Thanks so much for sharing it. Those assistance dogs do a dam amazing job. They give up their lives to care for someone less fortunate.

This is such an interesting thread & yes I too truly believe that our dogs communicate far more than we will probably ever know or understand. There is just too much evidence & 'things' that actually happen for it not to be the case. I think they know a lot more than we will probably ever give most of them credit for. Our furry kids are just so perceptive. They truly amaze me.

Poor babies !! it's tough at the top, isn't it !!

Most of the staffords I know are very friendly dogs and will happily play with anyone... I am sure this person will come across dogs that won't let him in but there will be lots that will allow him to come in... That's their biggest fault too. My two would bark like crazy until they were in the yard and then jump all over them for pats Yes & if this is gospel, this B#$@*$d is praying on them. When all they want is a pat & a cuddle

They do know that shorter coats are going to shed too, don't they? Common misconception amongst folks, that if they get a short coated dog they won't get dog hair everywhere! Yes, very true, short coated dogs shed as well. My son rescued a beautiful Doberman who sheds constantly.

She's a long hair.... the interested party want a short coat hahah maybe they just purchase a balloon sculptured dog :) Oh missed that request TCM , maybe the balloon dog is the go then LOL

My brother & his family recently purchased a Havanese puppy. She is an absolute delight. I had never even heard of the breed before. They originated from Cuba apparently. "Lola" is just beautiful. Lovely nature, great size & she is wonderfully well behavioured around my nieces & nephew who's ages range from 4 to 11. She also plays with their young Ragdoll cat & loves the chickens. Very lay back little girl, maybe it is just the Cuban way :)

What a scumbag !!! Hope they catch him very soon. Everyone in that beautiful part of the world keep an extra vigilant eye on your furry kids won't you until this crettin if dealt with. Hope next time if he does try to take some innocent persons poor pooch, he comes off 2nd best BIG TIME.

'dog Killer' Had 'killing Person In Bucket List'
BC Crazy replied to whiskedaway's topic in Dog Cruelty and Abuse News
OMG !! Pyschopath in the making. All the tell tail signs All those poor dogs he has tortured & killed, then to boost about it. Obviously this 16 year old has very, very serious issues.I totally agree with you German Shep Fan. We don't need this type of individual in our society. -
Great Ad, loved it ! Must have something in my eye too Also the VW Ad was really clever. :D

Sheena, am trying to place an order online with you but am having problems as your email address doesn't seem to be working? Any advice on this please? As I am running pretty low on my Black Hawk atm. Many thank's. :)

Your horses are just beautiful WnH. Keep the great photos coming.

Another 100% converted crate fan. I was dead against them before I got my 2 BC'S. Thought they were cruel even, like putting them in jail. After talking to the breeder I decided to give them a try, best thing I ever did. Crates keep them safe when you are unable to supervise them. Helps with toilet training. We go caravaning alot & both mine are crated every night inside our van just as they are at home, so they settle really well anywhere. My 2 love them. It becomes there den where they can relax too. When used correctly crates are a godsend IMO.

Farewell To Bean On The Forum That Brought Us Together
BC Crazy replied to MightyBean's topic in Rainbow Bridge
R.I.P. Little fella with the lions heart. Run free boy. So sorry for your loss. -
I'm with you Beezneez, only want to do agility for fun & cause I think Stella would benefit from all the training. Even just to learn to relax a bit & chill out around other dogs as well.
-
Your welcome Beezneez. Sorry I can't be of more help. I can sympathise with you though. I have been fortunate enough to have owned & rescued a few BC's now & never had one quite like my Stella. Lol. Glad to hear you are making progress with Layla' recall. She is still young so 15 minutes is very good. I alternate my treats for Stella so she always gets a surprise. Cheese, chicken, liver, frankfurt, cut up heaps small. Not sure about the age to start agility, would like to know for sure myself.
-
PME, glad to hear Kenzie is doing so well. You have worked really hard with her & am looking forward to watching her succeed. There IS hope Stella & myself, BN & Layla, & anyone else who have "quirky / over reactive furry kids. LOL. In the last month I can see a big improvement in my girl, I'm wrapped.

I would love to find a good agility club that would be willing to accomodate Stella & her quirky ways in our area. Might have to do a little more searching further away from home. I have everything crossed & all my faith in Steve , K9 Pro with his direction & get her into a decent club Stella would thrive, inturn I would learn heaps too.
