Yes, Benshiva my heart dog, a beautiful red / white boy I rescued & adored for 14.5 years sits in our bedroom now too. I say "good night" to him every night still. It's been four years this year since his passing. It's the only fault they have isn't it, they just don't live long enough. Their just forever in our heart's & our memories. R.I.P. Redman. Run free my beautiful boy.

Sorry to hear Alvin is missing Clyde. Everything crossed here for his safe return. Wish I lived closer, I could help look for him.

Foster Pup Rosalie - Now Willow!
BC Crazy replied to MavericksMission's topic in General Dog Discussion
OMG !! What a little cutie. I sooo want a big cuddle. I love Westies. You fosters do an amazing job too. I hope she finds a loving home. -
I am sure there are plenty of great vet run puppy schools around & as you say Saxonpup, it's all a learning curve.

I minded a Pom girl for a lady who went into hospital a while ago & haven't had any experience with toy's as I have only ever had BC's, she was a delight to have around. So small though, walking her was like walking something almost wined-up I would be finding another puppy school. There is no way a puppy should be pushed into 'meeting other dogs 3 times it's size.He could easily have broken something. Like us, all pups are different & they meet & interact differently. Doesn't mean there is anything to be worried about. My boy mixed really well right from the start, where as my girl wants to dominate (little miss bossy boots). I did find puppy school a bit boring to tell you the truth but there is only one around here & you guessed it, it is run by a vet nurse. I took my boy but didn't bother with my girl. Just a word of advice, which I learned after a bad experience I had at the hands of a so called 'obedience trainer'. I never let ANYONE handle my dogs, pick them up, or take their lead. Ever. I know that sounds a bit extremeist but it's your dog, you know them better then anyone & every experience it has, good or bad, is your responsibility. Enjoy your new puppy. I think they are just the cutest littely's & sounds like you are on the right track as he is already focusing on you. :D

Sorry no help to you as I too am in the market for a grooming table for my BC's. Had a look on ebay, price is good but not sure how stable they would be. Will be keeping my eye on what other Dolers recommend on this thread.

Me too Rozzie !

I hope we have not scared OP away as that was certainly not my intention & probably not any of the other dolers either. Agree, professional help, if it can be afforded would be a wonderful idea.

I agree with everyone's advice so far. BC's imo need regular exercise, yes, mental stimultion, yes, but most of all they need YOU !! Never, ever buy from a pet shop. I have 2 BC's. One 3 & 1 years old. They are best friends & I couldn't be happier. Having said that I am lucky enough to dedicate almost all my time to them as I no longer work. I also NEVER left them unsupervised when Stella was little, infact I rarely do now. Also something I think is VERY important, IMO never get a second dog for your first dog. I got Stella for me, pure self indulgence. Not for Sonny or any other reason. Just things to think about. I would get your first dog vet checked. Asap. I would rehome your new littley, as I think you are time strapped & all being well with your BC health wise, spend as much time as you can, exercise/stimulate & love Good luck & keep us posted on your outcome.

Heard this on news last night & can't repeat on here my opinion of this low life scumbag. What a waste of oxygen she'd be. Whatever penalty she recieves won't be enough. Poor little bloke. Gorgeous little face. Hope he finds a really special home, he so deserves it. -
Sorry double post.

I didn't have to leave my girl overnight, she came home same day & next morning she was quite bright & acting like normal, even trying to run around. I was all worried like you. Go figure. Good luck with Holly, she is such a cutie

Thanks so much for the update on Buster. Looks just how I pictuted in my thoughts. I think he would be pinching himself just to make sure he isn't dreaming. All this attention, cuddles & new playmates, just wonderful. Now off to his new forever home. So a lovely ending to a story about a dog & the generious hearts of those people kind enough to care. Merry Christmas everyone.

Quick update, just home from camera shopping & am delighted with my chrissy present. I ended up choosing a Canon Eos 11000 Rebel with an 1855+ 300m lenzes. Can't wait to get into it. Thanks to everyone once again for your invaluable help & will post some photo's when I learn how, LOL I also got a 12 disc DSLR camera course so I will be able to learn at my own pace. I was going to go to the local tafe to do a course. But am not the quickest learner so this way suits me better.

Yaaaaaaa !! Oh this is such wonderful news. I'm so happy for Buster. He will finally have a loving home. Sounds like hes going to doggy paradise actually. A huge thankyou to the lovely man from Tamworth & the family involved with adopting Buster. You have made my Cristmas a very happy one, as I wipe away the happy tears from my face. And I bet Buster feels like all his Cristmas's have come at once. Please if you get a chance to keep us posted on his progress, would love to hear how he settles in. Merry Christmas Buster. Enjoy all your new life brings you boy. You can catch up on all the cuddles you have sadly missed out on up until now.
