Woman Attacked By Pack Of Up To 15 Stray Dogs In Us
Tibbie_tabbie replied to Her Majesty Dogmad's topic in In The News
Having lived in Houston I can safely say any stray dogs in an upper class area would be dealt with ASAP. Unfortunately change the area to low income and nothing gets done Poor lady, I hope she pulls through. Usually in a well published case like this generous people will help cover medical costs. -

When Were You Convinced Your Dog Could Understand English?
Tibbie_tabbie replied to Leah82's topic in General Dog Discussion
My JRT understands all words associated with food, sleep or blankets, she often replies to these with her own talking (nasal snuffs). Any words such as bath, walk, run and she plays dead. My tibbie x boy reacts with happiness and joy to any word....the tibbie is strong in this one ; p -
What is with people suggesting a Chih when people say no time for walks/training/attention?! They are dogs and need everything any other dog needs. The walks maybe shorter but they still need them. Lol @ scary looking staff's ; p

Louis is one lucky little pup, he has such a devoted mummy :)

Is that even a dog related question? :p I haven't yet - it seemed we were throwing so much at him, but now things have settled down I'll give her a ring and have a chat about some ongoing herbal support :) Bhahahhahaha!! I'm also very rude now supposedly, so beware! ; p Im thinking of seeing her with Belle to see if she'd recommend anything for stressful times, ie vets. A colleague of OH has had great results with herbalist for his Tibetan terriers.
-
How rude! Why not look it up yourself? ETA Wow. Just wow. This is an information sharing forum - you could say 'look it up' to every post! Why don't you just pop me on ignore. Kthanks.
-
Bless him, he is still such a cutie though :) Btw - did you try the herbalist?
-
It was in WA, northern suburbs.

Nothing. I was just after some advice as I have no idea about WA laws. I put ducks in the title so if you weren't interested why read it?

Update: they were shot first. The police have contacted CALM and the RSPCA (guess they won't tell them 'no' like they did my friend) and are 'handling' it. Not sure if this is just lip service to calm down all the locals : / At least my friend seems relieved and her mind put at rest (she has pets and was worried it may be cats, etc next) Thanks all.
-
Not true - when we reported someone on suspicion of shooting Corellas out of a tree, they RSPCA were out to see him first thing the next morning, and the police as well as he was discharging a firearm in a public place Hope someone at least investigates this for your friend I know! I couldn't believe it There are some evil people around.
-
Are they sure? I'm not meaning any disrespect at all. But wild birds are not that easy to get close to - and unless they have been shot or brought down somehow first it would be hard for anyone to decapitate them. I have attended sites where people have been convinced that wild waterfowl have been killed by person/s cutting their heads off, and have confirmed each time that it was predation. I've asked this, no way could someone catch that many otherwise. Will post an update when I get one.

Yep Sick people. Thankfully a neighbour warned by friend before her little girl saw it. Her neighbourhood association has taken photos.
