Just want to say im not blaming the vet at all, he wasnt anywhere as bad as he is now and he was in for a different reason, i just asked her while i was there and thought of it.

Hi guys I am going to try to get into the vets on monday but thought for now i would try here and see if anyone has any ideas. Atlas is 8 years old and desexed. The last few weeks he has gotten bad with humping, he comes inside and grabs the cat bed and goes for it. I distract him and make him stop as often as I can. I do know this can be a behaviour thing but nothing has changed at all to make him start this. I did get a basic check over by the vets a few weeks ago and mentioned it to her, she just said that something must have changed to get him to start doing this. 2 things. 1 Before he had a lot of trouble with his penis. it would pop out and get stuck (i am sure most of you remember my threads about it!) This hasnt happened at all over the last few weeks and i have noticed that it does not show at all when he is excited, i am not sure if this is normal or if it is something to have checked out? 2. tonight he came in and grabbed the cat bed and started to hump. I took it off him and he stopped for a while, a bit later he got up and air humped then stopped and weed all over the ground. he has NEVER gone to the toilet inside, even as a puppy. This is NOT normal at all and i am not sure what could be going on? I would love some suggestions to what this could be because I am at a loss Thanks

My guys get fed in the mornings, they get a cup or 2 cups of kibble and a handful of mince mixed in. they also get some oils and At gets Sashas Blend in his. They will eat just dry food if i feed it, but they dont like it and will have it sitting there most the day with the birds eating, so i always mix something with it Silly me got roo mince the other week, kaos hates the stuff so i have been giving her grated cheese to get her to eat the kibble

LOVE IT!! Great work, it looks fantastic!! I am giving them all to everyone for christmas, those who dont have a slow cooker are getting one off mum and dad to go with t he book :D

That's weird, previously on the q&a section it had if you visit Vic with a restricted breed it can be seized and owner fined. Also said if you leave the state without being 'spoken to and fined' a letter can be sent saying if you return to the state, your dog will be seized etc. Now it's all disappeared Unless I imagined reading it I am sure i read it somewhere as well

It is very normal and i think each person is different. We have always gotten another animal soon after we lost the last one. It does not mean i didnt love them or am replacing them, it just means that i NEED animals in my life. My old pets would understand that and would want me to be happy. I honestly dont think i could go 8 months without a dog My last cat who died was 10 years ago, i got a new kitten the same week i lost her (my bella). Someone once told me i didnt care about Sasha who died but that is not the truth.. and i am sure Bella is thankful seeing she was on death row and was about to be PTS

yeah, i figure that the chances of them ALL getting sick is slim, and if i insure one over the others.. the others will get sick. I have been putting $40 a week away for years now and havent had to touch it for anything (only vaccinations and normal check ups). At least if no one gets sick the money is still mine and not going to an insurance company!

I have been posting it all over facebook and now have some non doggie friends who are also sharing it. we are in NSW but you never know... Really hope they are found soon

God they are expensive! I have 5 pets... no way i can afford to get it for everyone I put money in a different bank account each month, it is for the pets only. That way if something happens i have the money to pay, and if something does not happen... i have the money for myself :D

It would have to hurt them? Atlas hates the smoke alarm, when it is flat and beeps he actually wont come inside till i have turned it off. Kaos on the other hand, i have taught her when the alarm goes off she is to run to me and jump and bark and go crazy (taught her this after Jeds housefire, thought if i am asleep and it goes off i want her to come to me), not sure what she would do with a house alarm!

He came in again with the pup and Rocky was so happy to see me. When they left i reminded him again of my offer to take him, but then Rocky didnt want to leave, he kept running to me and crying when the owner grabbed him... i told him it means he loves me and i should take him home... didnt work *sigh*
