LOL.... reminds me of my friend who tried to show HER doofus how to use the doggy door. She got STUCK half-way thro' the door. Local Firies thought it the best job ever when they came to help. (Her ever so daft Mum rang them. Thing was the friend was in shortie pyjamas that where rather revealing). Benjie 'got' the door in the end. How? 'cos I stood on the other side & offered food. Labs of the world always 'do for food).

All great food but fart fodder for the 1st few meals of winter..... at least with HOrrible Herbet

In the size ratio, my GaborVizsla weighing more than 30kilos treated SarahCKCS 8kilos like fine china. They romped,played & groomed each other. I have a standing house rule that all dogs are crated apart during our absence. Overnight they can sleep together. When noone is home I prefer no risk of troubles. That said, they all did camp together a couple of times without trouble. They got correctly introduced. Sarah met her 'cousins' when she was 9 weeks. They all enjoyed each others' company for the next 9 years. Gabor was a most nuturing dog & a softie except if he was protecting me. :D

Recalled a Gabor special and a ZsaZsa gem.... Gabor was observed doing zoomies around the back yard trying to make contact with his own butt. Finally managed to make contact & stop said zoomies. Observed what appeared to be string. Nope, it was BACON RIND. Sighs, he had eaten an entire kilo bag of bacon over a couple of days. He had hidden the spoils & dined on them when he rightly thought noone could see him. We let Nature work there. ZsaZsa was the Counter Surfer professional, Queen, Champion of stealing. I had baked two trays of Hungarian cookies, with hazelnuts on one and walnuts on the other. They were left on the counter, pushed back supposedly out of HER reach. BitchGal scored BIG. She managed to eat the second row & fourth rows on each tray without disturbing anything. :laugh:

Jet arrived on the Gold Coast. Not a usual practice so it is possible procedures were not carried out correctly. Depp should be fined that's a given for many, including me.

When VIP jets arrive, the pilot may hand a manifest to whatever officials have turned up. Sometimes the passengers on these flights are using a type of concierge service wehre they are treated like royalty, taken to lounges & have the entry formalities done. There would be little need to do a plane inspection. There's been faults on both sides of this horror.

Where does it say it was knowingly? Pets travel free in most parts of the world, it could have been an oversight on his and the organisers part. Not everyone knows Australia has such strict quarantine rules. Depp has been here before. If he pined for the dogs during that visit, surely the onus would be on his minders to undertake due diligence as to the feasibility of their being with him? Old saying... ignorance of the law is no excuse. My older dogs had UK pet-passports. Since they were an integral part of our family life, we had to do research for their best treatment. I am sure Depp could have had the same happen.
