  1. Ernie would tell you if he needed more warmth. I have found my boys were vocal about feeling chilled when it was time of sleeping! Mind, same dogs loved the Mid West of the USA in Winter & thought snow was made for them.
  2. Aha!! Adelaide Blue Cheese on my shopping list ......... FOR ME !! Mind you I don't need ABC to initiate a snooze. Your post put a smile on my face, westiemum, visualising your precious Mr Mac snoozing and snuffling and snoring. Snap!!!! i added the vision of cosy & warm in Little Gift's jumper too....

  8. No need. BC..... I take so many notes it was at hand..
  9. I also had a great experience with a Delta trainer years ago. Two under 12 months Vizsla males who forgot their manners were quickly sorted out by the trainer.
  10. For your interest, BC', here's that other thread http://www.dolforums.com.au/topic/262545-bravecto/page__p__6680982__hl__bravecto__fromsearch__1#entry6680982
  11. Majority of my USA friends , all with gundogs, are not prepared to use this product yet. Their reasonings is the amount of time it is meant to be effective, and the fact that it's an oral prodcut used to deliver the method of removing fleas or ticks. Their thoughts are they would prefer to wait for more reports etc. It is interesting too that some of these people live in the South of the USA which is flea-paradise & in the Mid-West, tic-paradise. My friend who breeds was not impressed with the gastro side effects for any of her dogs.
  12. Sounds very positive Pockets. Did you try contacting the Head Office? I know it's based in NSW but the site has an email. They may offer you suggestions. I like the concept of having a mentor. It is helpful in learning new methods.
  13. Exactly the way it should be Is there any other way a beloved puppy should be? I never care that the dog may actually be old in years. But they are always that beloved puppy to me. I have a big cheesy grin thinking of Mac, Danny and our other loved older dogs.
  14. Just wonderful. I have roses for mine. In fact this year, I am planting the 2015 Anzac Rose for Tibor. ( he left us in December). http://www.treloarroses.com.au/index.php?route=information/information&information_id=55 I will be thinking of you all during the time ahead & sending love & prayers.
  15. I do not know any in Victoira. However I must offer Best wishes for success. I spent a considerable time in hospital some years ago & the highlight of the day was the visitis by the Delta Trained dogs. Wonderful concept and I wish you well.
  16. Sending LOVE to you and wishes for Boofy to have a peaceful time as you prepare for this final journey. What love you have given this dear wee man and how he has returned that love.
  17. How far are you from the Sutherland Shire? We had a recent thread http://www.dolforums.com.au/topic/262533-dog-trainer-recommendations/page__p__6681433__hl__corvus__fromsearch__1#entry6681433 What is happening with the dog? Another option would be Steve Courtney, of K9Pro. That would involve travelling to the Hawkesbury. http://www.k9pro.com.au It would depend on your needs.
  18. Horrible Herbert would like ya'll to know he is available for adoption to eat any of those treats ans says you have his word he is not gassy with cheese.... No Mam, no gas with cheese.
