  1. Ha..... does not say much for the social skills of the other party to be intoxicated and thus obnoxious. Way to put a downer on an outing. Of all my Vizslas, only Tibor was entirely immune to idiots. He used to totally ignore them. Horrible Herbert needs much guidance thanks to the obnoxious neighbour.

  3. We so need a LIKE button. Great info as usual. :)
  4. Do you know if your dog has any reactions to shellfish?
  5. Dear Dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A total Munchkins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a honey of a puppy............. Loving those eyes. This is a thinking puppy & looks like he might be plotting fun. Consider a hundred tummy kisses & rubs being sent. Welcome to your new life, Little One!!
  6. Now that's super to wake up to see!!!! Good vibes from these piccies.
  7. oh, I am beatiful, don't ya know!!!! Loving those ears
  8. I stood beside a couple who had driven down from the Central Coast to see the English Setters show. They missed them. Timetable stated judging started at 09:00am. They arrived 09:35 and not a sign of the dogs. Now even I am not sure what happened. However, they were thrilled to stay and watch the beautiful Gordon Setters & Irish Setter, then end their visit with watching the Vizslas...... including the dog that decided stopping in mid run to wee made him happier & the poor lass who jumped out of her ballerina flats to sprawl over the ground. Must also offer a GREAT round of applause to K9 Soft Crates. Our dogs snored & farted in great comfort in their Competition2 crates after finishing. ps.... I tried to get a British bulldog in my bag but his balls stuck out dso I had no chance. I enjoyed his slobber kisses though. :)
  9. last Sunday 29th March was their day. Bit earlier this year I think. They should be there Tues/Wed on the Breed Stalls. :)
  10. There are the different groups daily. http://www.sydneyroyal.com.au/2015_Dog_Catalogue_-_TOY_GROUP.pdf Breeds are their for their group on a given day. Monday 6th April is General Specials where the dogs come back for Best in Group etc. Tuesday & Wednesday are Agility. ( going to be exhausted) Enjoy!!!! forgot....there are Breed Stalls on Tuesday & Wednesday as well. Maybe you could see Chi's then?
  11. my .2c For your OWN sake, be forthright regarding the dog. The owner needs the truth. Better to come from you than a ranger or a worse scenario. Be blunt. I dont see this as a time for sweetness.
  12. Absolutely! All the very best, and well dressed young puppy-lads do this.
  13. Aw, that face!!!!!!!!!!!!! Squishable gorgeous face Matches the stylish paws!
  14. Mind blowing, if you can excuse the pun. Strangely, it was not because he had ever eaten garbage. Just his way of digesting food, I guess. :)
  15. All of this as well as making very very VERY bad wind were what Gabor would do. I swear to this day that the wind would be why he woke up.... out of embarrassment for making such a stench. He would lift his head, sniff in the general direction of his butt.... as if saying did I do THAT Vet assured us all was normal.
  16. Vizsla males should not weigh more than 27kg according to the ANKC standard. Herbert is 27kgs but I have to fight to keep him on that. At 16 months, he is still growing. GSP males have a breed standard of 30kgs. Depends on the lines too. My Vizsla gals were dainty little bitches. ( And bitch was the operative word). ZsaZsa never weighed more than 24kg except when whelping. She did best at 22.5kgs trim and sound. Piroska was always 23kgs even. She was desexed :)
  17. As well as the bathroom! Not known as Velcro dogs for nothing. Right now I have head of Vizsla keeping my toes warm as I type. Of course, he is also working me for an early dinner. Vizsla or GSP would be my suggestions.....
  18. Can def. second Luci Ellem. She and John are right into show training. That was who I thought of because of the breed! I have had a few lessons with different Vizslas over the years with them. Always happy with the outcome. ps.... They will be busy until after the Easter Show with no classes etc.
  19. Herbert eats anything from this range. But when I have tried other brands, he will not. My fault for spoling him.
  20. Sail_Away this is the beauty of the product. It actually has a shelf life of 3 years if you do not open it. But once it is opened and looked after correctly, I was told to expect at least 15 months. What I have done is use a snap seal bag. THen I put that bag in a Sistema container. I keep it in the dark of the pantry. No need to put in the fridge. I keep it out of life and away from bugs.
