I can't find anything in Australia for dogs called "Independent Breeders Association". Were they more specific and you don't want to say which, or did they make that up? Could it be these: http://www.aapdb.com.au/ We spoke in this thread too: http://www.dolforums.com.au/topic/259017-what-is-a-independent-breeders-assoc/

Mature Dogs / Puppies Listed On Dol Home PageVizslaMomma replied to Mum to Emma's topic in General Dog Discussion My breed, Vizslas, rarely has mature dogs per se. We have the occasional rescue. Our State club acts there with interaction with the other states.

Heartworm Questions - Blood Tests And MoreVizslaMomma replied to Katdogs's topic in General Dog Discussion I think the protocols have changed. From what he said, it's no longer quite as gloomy. My vet spoke to me last Thursday about the changes. To be fair to you, CC, I am going to hope that someone more familiar does reply. I got a surprise at what he did say though. Last experience I had was a friend's dog that got given horrible horrible chemicals to combat the infection. He did survive though. It's much different now. :D

Doberman Shocks New Owner By Giving Birth To 14 PuppiesVizslaMomma replied to sandgrubber's topic in In The News A little OT, ZsaZsa Vizsla delivered 12 with her first litter ( AND mine). Mind blowing.

Interesting point there. Did the dog get medications a month apart? Is your friend aware of anything happening at the time of seizures with the dog? Just my 2 cents, can you make sure the Vet gets told about this as well, please. :D

Let me say how very lucky your puppy is. So great you are asking questions to make sure everything can work OK for your new puppy. He is going to be such fun when he does arrive home. Teething is a bit of a trying time so you are right on the mark to work out what to let him have. You can also look at the 'tougher' types of toys that are known to be longer-lasting . Having a blonde moment & can't think of names. :D

Our Katie never liked nylabones ever. Mind, she also did not know she was a Ridgeback but rather a giant Vizsla. Accodringly, we used bones etc after she was 6 months old. Whilst a puppy, we used a Kong daily. It was stuffed with heaps of different foods to entertain her.

That is beautiful.... sitting watching you. Tibor's cask has no photo. I choose the simplicity of the wooden cask as Tibor preferred simple. I have a photo and two candles on top of a beautiful piece of pure white linen. It is just him ( to me).

Chinese Crested Blackheads And Skin CareVizslaMomma replied to Fergiesmum's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming I dug into my files. I have this site created by a lovely lady who lived in WA. ( Not spoken to her for a long time.) Amongst her dogs, she has Chinese Crested. http://www.lowchensaustralia.com/ There's a lot of info on lots of topics so I hope you can find something to help you. Has puppy a name? :D

I so want to get one of the 30" ones for the tigers at Symbio - in red... their fave colour is red apparently... *grin* Either that or a red plastic 40 gallon drum would do just as well methinks... just where the hell would I get one? T. Try Mamre Produce in Mamre Road, Kemps Creek. Ray has heaps of food content/quality drums safe to go near animals. :D
