Vizslas do wiggle butts WITH tails going full cry. When we went to 'collect' Herbert last year, the breeder had taken all the collars off the puppies. There was this adorable pile of puppies. But no MisterBrown, now aka Herbert. He was away from all the others, sleeping under a trolley. I asked his whereabouts. And the wee critter came over & plonked himself on my feet. He simply curled up & gave a wee happy grunt. Was it love? Well I was smitten.

It's wonderful to get such great input and from all the Vets here. Train them from an early age is my motto. LOL. It's like Doctors. Doctors are not Dog. I am so lucky that I have been able to have all the various animal members of our family treated by Vets who are caring & compassionate. Desxing is not an issue. I explain that they ( the humans) can get sterlised first. Then we can consider doing the same to the dogs. Manages to end discussion. My dog, my choice, my business is what I say. Funnily enough, in all the years of having dogs & bitches, it was only two bitches which were wanton hussies. The boys never gave trouble. :D

Oh my gosh that is absolutely terrifying. I freak out if a snake goes UNDER my house, let alone if it's IN my house!!! Agreed! I would be so terrified.

There is an attitude of it will not happen to me. But fire can happen, and so often, unexpectedly. DaddyVizsla has made sure any property we have had in bush fire zones had as much as possible done to protect it. We had roof sprinklers, cleared guttering, and a pool with generator attached. The year after we moved out was the year fires came.

That's a seriously adorable puppy! With Vizslas, that tends to be called the Zoomies. Just up early because Horrible Herbert has them these warmer mornings.

Thanks! They're going to grow up to be best friends, Emma loves the dogs, Ivy is a little too rough at the moment but she settles down nicely once the excitement of seeing 'her baby' wears off lol Brings back happy memories. The dog was an Irish Setter but so devoted :D
