  1. I understand that the pilot hands a manifesto over to the officals who come to the plane. It's a sort of old boys honour system that everything is kosher on board... Guess this backfired.
  2. Unka Jase, I you. You understand the hunger of a young boy dog.
  3. Just you are more genteel than I can be, DDD. *winks*
  4. Am I ever unpopular? The pet shop no longer stocks these. The Horrible One said thank you for nothing, Momma. Then proceeded to kill x2 biros ( belonging to DaddyVizsla) & doing a snake dance with my pantyhose. He was singing the song of his people..... Feed me, Momma! Feed me! I want food.
  5. Hey, I'm Johnny Depp. I can do what I like. I am very famous. :mad He has wilfully and knowingly broken the law. No sympathy for him, only for the dogs. Johnny, you may be famous. But you are acting like a certain part of your body, a d**k head. (soz, DDD...x)
  6. Put the dogs in quarantine. Put depp in another cage beside them WTFudge is Johnny Depp to make a mockery of laws designed to protect Australia? Havung had to deal with more than one dog confined in a quarantine pen, I have no sympathy for this blatant arrogance. We nearly lost a bitch in whelp because of quarantine conditions. Thank Dog that the staff were proactive in getting a Vet to her even before we became aware she was ill. Not happy Jan.
  7. Nice one! Donatella: consider using the Massell stock. I find that not as salty. Eggs I add per serve & not in the cooking. My boy is bigger than your wee dainties so I add the shell as well, mashed up lots. Another variation is chicken simmered for ages, then stripped of bones.
  8. Scary for you that the sand was in a closed container.... Molly is adorable & I hope she is well on the way to recovery. Best Wishes to all of you.
  9. I missed this of a few days ago, . I remember my first little dog who had a breath that I'd say could stop a train. She wasn't a strong or well little one and at died at 3 and a half of congestive heart failure. So if they don't have gum/teeth disease, I think it is almost inevitable that elderly failing dogs will have bad breath. Yesterday I was lying on the couch surrounded by dogs and became aware of an awful smell. It wasn't bad breath and I thought someone had decided to let some perfume out of the rear end. Turned out to be the bone broth simmering away on the stove . Yuk, it is an awful smell, but I am a vegetarian so the smell of meat cooking is always a bit confronting. Only a few hours of simmering left. I giggled. I really giggled. Can not tell you how often I have thought of doing 'butt check' & it's the concoction on the stove top simmering away. A few years ago when I was ill, I could not tolerate the odours of meat cooking for months on end. eta... spellink erra
  10. Great service. Well done for letting others know as well.
  11. It's always super when different personalities blend to make a happy pack. Nothing fazed Tibor. Gabor was neurotic but he came to us as a 7 monht old rescue with attached baggage. Thank Dog, we worked thro' his fobiles and found underneath the best dog ever. ( silly as but who needed to tell a loyal & faithful dog anything like that. ) Gabor was my Heart dog. When Gabor was being silly, Tibor would sit & look at him as if to say 'are you for real'...
  12. aw.... I sense 'wind' later. At least Tibor would make wind after mornay. Those awful pongs where he would lift up his own head, smell his butt.... then look at me as if to say 'did I do that!!!! (s0z, TMI)
  13. Mine is past tense. Tibor would just remain in the background if either Gabor or ZsaZsa were doing the Ringling Brothers Circus act aka feed me. Once, Tibor even got left outside on the back porch. Gabor had tripped the door so it shut. I had feed them ( how unusual) & then heard this tiny whimper.... Tibor was sat patiently waiting. After that, I made a point of 'doing' for him first at least a couple times a day. I tell you his tail wagged in delight. I found the dogs knew there was a pecking order & were amenable. Times of sickness, of course, allowed for a different approach.
  14. Would that every dog had the life and love that Baylee & Bliss enjoyed. It's a wonderful testimony to you, grumpette that these darlings flourished. I imgaine that The Old Chook is looking down over you from the Bridge. I also warrant Baylee may have met my Gabor.... they would be a fine pair of 'Old Chooks' together. Happy Birthday Girls!
  15. Dear Dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wall to wall bliss.........................sqqqqqqqqqqquuuuuuuuuuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeee. What gems.
  16. Gorgeous - I wonder if my work colleague has seen this, i'll send to her as she's actively seeking an older Boxer!! Oh good please do! She was making the call yesterday - fingers crossed!! :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers: May it please be so.
  17. Now it clicks..... Sassy has a brother called Victor? So exciting to meet you.
  18. Well Done! Congratulations are in order.
  19. This is where Steve excels......... he 'reads' the dog and imparts the best knowledge to allow the human to do their best with the dog.
  20. Have a read over this part of the forum: http://www.dolforums.com.au/forum/9-training-obedience-dog-sports/ There are posts by people who have actually taken their dogs to K9Pro. That includes not just within NSW but also in QLD. I have seen in person dogs, trained by his methods which were out in large crowds, completely in sync with what their owner wanted them to do & unaware of anything else. That bond we want with our dogs was there & the training methods made it so.
