  1. very encouraging for anyone consdiering dealing with the company/ Impressed for sure & happy you have resolution,Serket. :D
  2. Majority of breeders have a lot of experience in sending puppies interstate. Sometimes a litter mate may be going to the same city. Both puppies get to travel together. THe puppies get a certain sized crate to travel in when flying. Overall they do not get too stressed. Will depend on the puppy of course. My friend in WA got a Vizsla from QLD. He 'sang' the entire flight. Yodelled non-stop. Majority of passengers howled along with him in fits of laughter. We drove back from QLD to NWS via the Pacific Hwy in mid January. We broke the journey Morayfield to Yamba. Stayed two nights with family. Then home the bext day. Puppy had a great trip. No accidents nor was car sick. Again, many breeders have let their puppies have outings in cars. You can decide what will suit you & puppy best. We collected ours because I wanted to visit the adult dogs of the kennel again. Meant we had a lovely bonding time. Sounds exciting for you all. :D
  3. Rehouse the humans. Give the dog to people capable of loving and caring for it.
  4. Not a single thing wrong with that. Your Rottis are adorable, and a full credit to you.
  5. What impresses me is the age of the lad too. That is some serious work there with a grand result.
  6. German friend has Rottis as part of his security work. The male on duty is a killer ( in appearance). Off duty, he is the most beautiful, gentle dog. His litter sister is EVIL herself. Her offspring are gentle boys & evil girls.
  7. We have a problem. How can they be divided amongst all their fans?
  8. That sounds exciting and stimulating. eta: battery died...... Karen Pyor is a genius.
  9. Let me get rid of the SO. I am so having one of these. I am sat here imagining myself talking Vizsla & Rotti... I am a sick puppy.
  10. Please dont stop. The overload of cuteness. Ah carumba ps,& there are natural bob-tails too aren't there?
  11. sqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqquuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Teddy Bear Teddy Bear Teddy Bear Teddy Bear sqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqquuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Yeah nice dog
  12. Circumstances meant we had to introduce the latest puppy Horrible Herbert after my heart dog crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge. The old boy has shown no interest whatsoever in the puppy. He has never growled at him but also has never played. This tends to make Herbert try all manner of tricks to get a response. ( needs quick action when Herbert tries certain activities). Then they both lie together for a couple of hours & keep each other warm. May be a one off but after we had better adjustment when there was another dog, I would prefer that in the future ( which i hope is ages away).
  13. There's another point which makes me a bit 'wobbly'. Some have dogs that are openingly described as 'spesial'. And these dogs are as adored. With the idiocy out in the world, that is touching too, imnsho.
  14. Selegiline is used with some dogs which are diagnosed with Cushings.
  15. I would consider prior as a preferable option. Since this is your intetnion to help Maximus, it should give you time for adjustments & for Maximus to do better when his dear Bubba crosses over. The times we have introduced a puppy and thus had a trio, have made for some wonderful moments for the older dogs. Your boys are so very lucky for your devotion and care. Thank you for caring so very much.
  16. Sounds strange. I would think majority of people would get back in touch with a breeder IF they had medical expenses incurred because of the need for surgery. In my breed, I am aware of this happening. I would think your costs were quite high for the surgery.
  17. We are really lucky to have this modern fandangled contraption known as the internet. We get to share the photos of truly wonderful dogs. Another DOL great thread for its good vibes.
  18. Would you have them any other way?
  19. I will keep this method in the memory bank, as huskies are prone to hot spots, thankfully Ronin hasn't had one yet - thanks for posting :) Added to my memory bank too.
  20. Great detectvie work, LG. Eliminate sources always matters. How lucky you found out and Tempeh is well on the way to recovery.
