  1. Poor Sonny what a tragic thing to happen, but sounds as though in the time that you had him he knew what love was all about he is now running free at the now hopefully you get Tasha back, what a dreadful time you have had, I would be completely and utterly devastated if this happened to my babies.
  2. Phew!!! Glad I do not live in a tick area, but we do have the deadly dangerous brown snake season now, and the occacional red belly black, but we keep a weed free and timber free yard, so as to make it safe for the fur babies.

    Mr Boy

Katey I know how you feel, they take a chunk of your heart with them and you think you will never get over the loss, but believe me you do eventually come to accept it, just think of all the wonderful moments you spent together and how happy he is now with all our fur babies at the  Three years ago I sent a beautiful puppy, 10 months to the UK, to breeders, and my poor James was left on the tarmac at Singapore for five hours, and he died a dreadful death, I still cry for him as he did not deserve that, but I have warm fuzzy memories of him that make me smile, I bet James welcomed Maya when he arrived. :p
  4. My dogs wear their nails down by when they go for walks they go on hard surfaces, and when they are home, they have concrete and scoria, which acts like a pumis stone, I only ever have to cut the newborn nails, then never again, because of the above.

    Lucy

What a grand old lady was your Lucy, run free sweet little girl, you are young once again at the I know you will miss her, but she will be looking down on you your little guardian angel
  12. Although my breed is not a large one, they are muscular and weigh heavy for their size, and this breed can also suffer from splayed feet, sometimes it is hereditary, but often it is because they are mainly kept on soft surfaces. My dogs run on concrete & scoria, volcanic pebbles red in colour, the hard surface keeps their feet tight and the scoria acts like a pumis stone and keeps nails short, I never have to cut toenails in this house
  13. Hi, It could be a grass allergy, as it is that time of year. A friend of mine contacted me yesterday, and she lives in Vic. to see if I had a suggestion as two of her dogs have the itches, no fleas, been frontlined. My suggestion was to shampoo them in Aloveen, avialable from the vet, it has an oatmeal base and is soapless, no chemicals, she has bathed them in that and no more itch. This product has a leave in conditioner which gives some protection. Hope this might help.
  14. So sorry to hear of Molly's problems, you did the right thing for her, she is now running free with all of our dear babies who are already there.
  15. Just such beautiful but true words. A very dear friend of mine had two Cavaliers, and whilst they were still alive she had purchased this beautiful book with that poem in it, and when her beloved pets went to the rainbow bridge she found a lot of consolation in this beautiful poem.
  16. Run free JoJo you sweet baby, with all your friends at the Rainbow Bridge
