WOWI am seriously loving your pics guys...there is somme serious talent on DOL forum!!!!

I have no clue about lenses. I have a canon 450d with 15-55mm lens and 55-250 mm lens.

I really want to be able to make beeeeeautiful pics like this such clarity and focus (dont know who took it to ask what lens and camera they used)

Is this the sort of thing a 50mm can do of would I need a different lens altogether?

Great pics everyone, Huga just love yours!! I took some pics last weekend at a show with the 50mm but wasn't 100% happy, I just used my 18 - 200 mm today, but after seeing the pics on here again, has given me the incentive to have another go with the 50mm tomorrow, will see how I go :)

Hey, he's a dressage dog!

I always love visiting this thread. Huga when your kids are all grown up, they'll only need to look back on their childhood pics to bring back those memories and to remind themselves just how much their mummy loves them. I know it's corny but it's what I always feel when I see your photos.

Thanks Bec. I'm wondering if it's because my back isn't as sore lately and I can get a bit lower. Usually I try to avoid kneeling or sitting on the ground but I've been able to be a little more active these last few weeks.

Hey, Cam would look good as a dad wouldn't he.

Thanks guys. I don't like the B&W as much, probably because I chopped off the side of her head and her face is too dark to see much detail.

Thank you Kirislin  It's true, they will have lots to look at. I tend to think of them more as target practice than memories though - but you are right. I love going to mum and dads and digging out the albums of us as kids :)

Look at Cam with the bubba! I think you need one Bec

I do melt a little when I see him with little Sienna. He's mad for her and she just loves him

He looks so comfortable with her. Most men are quite awkward with babies until they have their own.

Ok, most of you have seen these, but here are a few faves from the weekend:
