Have not been in for a few days.

:) at finding the shoes, at least you got a pair.

Once you are well, what would be the chanes of getting a caravan on the block??

At least you would not have to pay extra rent.

The Goat herder disguised as a black and tan cav got her first points on Sunday.

Thanks everyone, the healing vibes, hugs and candles are definitely working. I appreciate them, ditto the messages, so good. So nice to have all the support when I am so down. Glad to hear about the goat herder's win, Bilbo Baggins, mine would all faint if they saw a goat!!

Hesapandabear, I have pm-ed you.

Hugs Jed, sounds like the visit from the lovely ladies and your dogs was bittersweet but I'm so glad you got to see them for yourself and I'm sure you got some much needed cav cuddles from your old girl, at least. Bless that little boxer pup with her burns - I bet she'll become really special to you and you'll end up having a wonderful bond. I hope you don't stress too much about the older dogs and that they can be with you soon, I expect they're passing all the goss onto the other dogs about seeing Mum the other day and how the naughty sex fiend couldn't control himself even for a few hours.

Was wondering when you'd get your fingers out and start working on the next lot of speciality breeds. You are going to have to come up with some extra extra speshal ones who can help Jed build, paint, fence, push a wheelbarrow. I have every faith in your amazing capabilities.:eek:

I can just see ChiChi sitting on a pile of bricks yelping orders and keeping an alert eye on mumma Jed to make sure she doesn't over do it.

No way!! down in the shed, pumping them out, pumping them out. Nothing wrong with a bit of patella luxation, and most of the suckers puppy buyers wont know the pups have their back legs on back to front

Chi x JRT, chi x poos - chipoos!! Very popular. Can't keep a good puppy farmer down, Mother Moocher, you should know that, and I now have official confirmation from the RSPCA that I am a good ethical breeder, with beautifully kept and well socialised dogs so I can trade on that!! Prices going up.

Jed just a thought on the centrelink fun - while you may not qualify for disability pension, what you can do is ask your doctor to fill out a form saying you are not capable of looking for work on the relevant grounds. This will last for six weeks once you file it with centrelink, then you need to get another - not entirely helpful but it means you don't have to look for work or be filling in forms every week.

So glad you get to see the pups :o:)

If you can get a psychiatrist to say you are unfit for work due to depression/ PTSD from the fire etc, it will last 3 months and can be renewed with another form from psychiatrist in 3 months time.

I was thinking about this last night - seeing a psychiatrist/psychologist/counsellor I mean. For financial reasons of course the documentation would be great, but I was also thinking for yourself, some grief counselling could be really helpful. You've been through massive trauma and may be feeling overwhelmed about what you still have to face. There should be some public health system assistance available on that front hopefully.

Ok, that's all I'll say about that - it's totally none of my business, and you may already be doing it. No need for you to respond to this suggestion in any way, just something to think about, I know I've personally found professional help from a good psychologist to be invaluable during difficult times.

On a brighter note - I'm glad you're still showing your sense of humour, and can't wait for the day when you have all your puppers home with you
