 @ seita for this bit

For Mack who looks like he's staying at this stage I want him to get his nuts so I can actually start showing him

I want to know do you have a training plan for this :D

(Sorry - couldn't resist - last day of the school year for me - I think it's not just the kids who are OTT)

Rogan

- To remain sound enough to contiue competing regularly in agility in 2011. At 8.5 and a large dog, he's probably not going to be as competitive as he has been but I'd like to get the 10 multipliers on all his agility titles!! He has them (and more) in the Open classes, is nearly there in JDM but a long way off on ADM :) ADM may not happen in 2011, but I hope he's stays sound enough to eventually get there. Not, that I ever actually apply for the multiplier titles, but I might if he gets 10 in everything :mad

- I am considering having yet another go at Tracking.

- If Rally is offered around here, have a go at that!

Polo

- To get him weaving consistently!! Only been an aim for 3 years now I think. At least now I'm actually kinda training him

- To gain his SD, SPD, GD & AD?? titles!

- To compete in a Field Trial  Scary stuff!!!

- To compete in an All Age stake at a retrieving trial :mad More scary stuff!!

- To train all UD exercises and maybe enter a trial or two.

- To train for the Open Utility Gundog Ability Test and perhaps compete if the Open class is offered next year.

Phew! That's enough!

I sort of thought I wouldn't do goals for next year, because I want to not care if Jess passes of not, as long as she's having fun (in agility, she's having almost too much fun though!!) but I gave in, I like goals

Jess

-CDX title

-Start Utility training *undecided*

-JD title (only one more leg!)

-AD title

-Leg(s) towards JDX, JDO, SD, GD

-Finish teaching the bloody see-saw then..

-ADX + ADO trials

Goals for me would be to not get so nervous in the ring, focus on the good more than the bad and to better my crappy agility handling!

Kind of finished two goals already :)

So to that I'll add:

-GD title

-have a go at pairs

For Wolf:

- CCD title

- ET Title

- Do well at sleddog national held in WA this year

- Continue showing and hopefully get some group wins!

- Start tracking training

- Start canine freestyle training/ trick training

- Start agility training IF he gets his CCD

For Bondi:

- Keep her fit and in shape so her arthritis doesnt get worse

- Teach new tricks to keep her entertained

- Possibly tracking (she loves hide and seek!)

For Rumour-

- Start obedience training :)

- Get her to pull more into harness for sledding

For me:

- Keep motivated and have fun

No idea why I do this as I never manage it, lol

For Piper, who I had retired:

To get her HXAd title. Need 2 passes. I never expected to even have a go at it so am please she got 1 in our first try.

For Jazz:

To finish her HIAd

To have a try at least once at HIAs

If HSAb is oferred here to attempt that

To commence agility training

To whelp a healthy litter with no complications. Of course the timing of this could have a big impact on the other goals. She should be in season by now, but Jazz doesn't follow the books.

Hi all

I'm refreshing my goals, given its still January I don't think I'm being too cheeky. Agility may end up being pushed down the list a little with our main focus on herding and obedience.

Bronte:

- Train for and gain her Herding Started A title on sheep. Start some training on ducks and cattle.

- Gain her CD title.

- Start training for her CDX - out of sight is going to be a challenge for us - mummy's girl!

- Start agility training and just generally learn a heap more about the discipline as its a little foreign to me.

- Maybe try a tracking workshop or two, initially for fun to try it out and see if we like it.

'Yet to be chosen and named puppy':

- Basic obedience and plenty of socialisation.

- Introduction to sheep and watching, watching, watching the big dogs work the stock.

- Gain his/her Herding Instinct Certificate.

Fergus:

* Compete in his first agility trial. Pass optional! I'll be happy if he just sticks by my side and misses every obstacle.

* Give flyball training a try

* Do 3 mins training each day

Lucy:

* Address the fear aggression issues. Be able to go on a walk without it being a stressful thing (for me).

* Continue agility training

* "Get" free shaping with clicker - we're almost there.

* Do 3 mins training each day

I'll add to this one....

For Lottie:

- get her CCD title (maybe - or at least enter a couple trials!!)

- Start training agility - and maybe have a go at the end of the year - although I won't be pushing her as she is on the largish size so might wait a while

- Do some more herding

I think if I can get these to happen i'll be very happy!!!!

And to just have lots of fun - which I usually do anyway - Lottie is a pretty fun dog to work with

I have a simple wish, to get stuck into callista's TID. It's a new years resolution and I'm determined to prove a frenchie's can do obedience work. Hopefully Steve hasn't forgotten who I am. :)

Yay go the Frenchie

Not this time, I have nothing to show off apart from a 5 month old bubba :D

I have a new video camera, so I'd better get to it. I'll have to start from square one.

Yep another Smoothie, too hard to go past at the moment. Most likely a he, but possibly a she, should l know in another week and a half as to which one he/she will be. The Collie is such a brillant, easy to live with, under rated breed that I want to promote it in the dog sport world, especially the wash and wear Smoothies :)
