Mine are from the last few days - not a whole lot to take photos of except water - so that's what i've got to show Day 10 - 10/01/2011 - with the bridge over to the other side of town closed to cars - people were making their last efforts in trying to get home!! Day 11 - 11/01/2011 - The Peak Day 12 - 12/01/2011 - Heartbreak - I watched as this owner walked back to his house - hands on head - it said everything!!! This was taken around 10am this morning... helen Posted January 12, 2011 Share Posted January 12, 2011 Well all you people have inspired me and I decided to give this a go after all, I figured I have a little point and shoot now so there is no excuse I hope I don't bore you all, I don't really lead a very exciting life This is my flickr album http://www.flickr.com/photos/rivamist/sets...57625805717484/ Day 12 - I really couldn't face making a salad to go with tea so when to McDonalds and got fries to go with the meat and sweetcorn - what was that about a diet? Day 3 - Chazer's first week as my new 52 week model, he doesn't like the camera much so I need to be patient, not like Bella who loves the camera. This place is normally open so I took advantage of the fact it was closed for the public holiday. I went all out with the vintage look as it is a rather rustic old place. Think ill be able to manage to take the dogs for a run tomorrow, they have been such troopers while I've been laid up! hopefully I will get something worth posting. DA, love Merlin magic! Today is the first day it hasn't rained in... I don't know how long. With the constant grim footage from the floods at the moment, it was nice to head outside into the sun and see this baby blue tongue venturing out to sunbake. I was outside hanging out some washing when I spotted this little guy. By the time I came back with my camera, he had retreated a little, before hiding under the concrete slab when I got too close. Zenith Posted January 12, 2011 Share Posted January 12, 2011 Todays shot is in memory of my Dad who passed away 3 years ago today. There were a few things I wanted to do for a photo - but I was far too emotional to shoot them in the end. So I chose to lay down in front of his house surrounded by his favourite plants, stone, chair and the house he so carefully planned.
