Staffy Bitches Started To Fight
persephone replied to TanyaK's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
This can happen, unfortunately. please keep them totally separated at all times .... and just enjoy one on one time with them as normal. Contact a good professional.. CLICK HERE for the one who sprang to mind . You may be interested to read some of the stuff in these threads CLICK CLICK CLICK -
yes, speak with your breeder, and ask what they recommend . Some breeders will send home a sample too :) It may be better for your pup to keep to the breeder diet for a week or so while you gradually introduce the new food you want to use . This way avoids tummy upsets.

have you a referral to a specialist yet? Don't forget .. biting legs/feet can be a sign of an anxious mind .....

:) That's mostly what the focus is . I think It's lovely .

Mumscats .. Seems like you and your dog need some professional help , now that things have changed and affected you both . I suggest contacting members erny, nekhbet or cosmolo ..all professionals in Vic. They can talk with you about what's happening , and help you and your dog do things differently :)

I second wood shavings ( make sure the wood is not from treated pine! ) . yes, sawdust can be inhaled ..and it also gets mucky.

Labrador LivestockGuardian Dog . :) A neighbour's lab .. with 'her sheep' When the lambs were babies, she would follow them closely ...and if mum went to far away, she would clean them and keep them company. She also chases foxes .

Present an image - which if viewed by anyone - shouts 'SUMMER' ? Capture images which have 'Christmas Spirit' as a base? eg: The father Christmas in the mall , a piece of tinsel, a favourite Tree ornament .. little kids' faces watching a pageant ..anything like that ? 'What would you like to change this Christmas' ? A pup you would rescue, graffiti you'd clean, a person you would feed ,a garden you would nurture , perhaps your hair colour , or new nails ? :) my 2c worth .

When we had an old girl who got a bad case ..I used malawash ..( Koolie - so avoided the moxidectin * ivomec* things) and scrubbed her with a chux pot scourer ..so it would get in ... fed her fresh & raw with an egg every day ..lots of fresh fruit ..and ironcyclen, plus ThriveD. She is 13 .... and she did get fat & fully coated again over time.

the little spider!!! bottlebrushes are great, aren't they ? Ping.. more bonsai shots please? :) Two of our flower spidees :) I so love these guys!

..and if mum is very enthusiastic with cleaning/pushing pup around - i feel that it may be good for stimulation /exercise, and less chance of perhaps being a swimmer/slug. A few sessions a day with Mum ..may help settle mum's hormones/keenness, and provide pup with what she needs :)

I know it will be difficult ... and for your brother too. Motels etc are not cheap ..and they might not be able to afford anything like that ..esp around Christmas. Christmas has this ability to 'force' families together and ignite all sorts of friction . I hope you can find a solution which does not make you feel uncomfortable in your space.

Weight Loss In Early Pregnancy And Feeding Tips
persephone replied to SLF's topic in Breeders Community
For a bitch that is apparently fit & in full work .. this surprises me ... I have seen bitches still working right up 'til actual whelping ..they looked like they would burst at the seams, and were still charging around! I am glad she's eating more... keep up the drinking! Chicken soup is good ..no salt .. and it's very acceptable cold . Any form of dehydration is not a good thing ... -
This does sound very stressful No info about dogs you can use ..really.. yes, worms and sarcoptic mange are transmissible to humans ..but most dogs are well cared for , have illnesses treated and are definitely not a 'danger', disease wise. but perhaps explain that it is not your SIL's 'RIGHT' to stay at your house ..and that , when in your house , they accept your way of living, and your rules. The one thing which concerns me is that your dog will pick up on their attitude ..esp if the S I L is demonstrative ..he may behave differently , and may react to them in ways he doesn't normally . I would really suggest a motel/caravan park ,or another relation's house for them . Say you would love to have them there for the day ... but , yes, you think it may not be healthy for them to stay with your dog in close confines....

Poor pup... seems a bit odd . Hope all is well.

..what does your vet say ? This can be very dangerous ..and injectable calcium is often necessary ...as well as determining a cause . Please take her to a vet - get her calcium levels tested. She may not be able to absorb calcium properly ..and may need an IV. It's not worth the risk of losing her ... I will never forget one of our bitches having seizures in the car on the way to the vet Hope all goes well.
