they can . I have lived in this old house..in the bush , for 60 yrs . we have had snakes inside 4 times ...and , touch wood, no fires. not a bad average .... ;) we have certainly lost dogs & other animals to snakebite/accident outside more times than that

Actually ..it will still mean not a lot ....and she has no understanding of what BAD is . quietly removing her to the outside and praising her for any drops of urine produced THERE ..that will mean more to her

Hi My advice is to get this little dog checked out by a good vet behaviourist , to find out about this behaviour . It all sounds extreme . Did you contact the breeder at all when you started to notice things ? have you sought help from vets/trainers?

Thanks ...if your pup hasn't been out to get dirty - he shouldn't need bathing ;) Dogs don't sweat - so don't have a problem like humans . How often do you bathe him ? What colour is he ?

hi what is pld? Have you spoken with the breeder about this problem ? Do any others in the litter have problems? How long have you had Frankie? Was the breeder feeding different food ? What have you bathed him in ? What colour is Frankie? What flea/tick control products have you used? What sort of bedding does Frankie sleep on ..and whereabouts in the house? That may give us something to work on

40!! That's a pretty grand age ... he wears it well not sure how I feel about hannah .... guess I'll just worry along with everyone else - that party certainly was a success :D One of those iceblocks, a few friends and a day in which to enjoy it ...Hmmmmm... sounds an idea ! ;) maybe I'll design a lunch based on a chimp party

@Caitlin888 Oh dear ... it's always tricky with feet .. some dogs are a bit precious and need extra work so they will accept foot and toe handling happily ... and most dogs will lick to remove any moisture or cream etc ...so it's catch 22 ! I hope the vet ( or a different one) can help you find something suitable and less stressful for everyone ;)

I can't really help ... have never used one ! maybe look for Susan Garrett Crate Games ? A crate can also be used at ANY TIME as the dog's bed/safe place /place where the really good treats are given ..so that being there is a nice thing anyhow . it is not a punishment. make sure the crate is in a good spot (for the DOG) ;) ...is large enough ...cool in Summer This may also help ..I discovered it the other day CLICK HERE .
