  1. Great vids SC. Its interesting the Tiger Snakes up here are a entirely different colour. They seem to come in greens and browns, sometimes even reddish. Those Copperheads are extremely beutiful snakes. It interesting up here there seem to be different levels for different snakes. Down in the wet areas around the rivers and creeks and marshy ground all you see are Tigers and RBBlacks, then higher up were its a bit dryer there are Browns and Blacks. In the rocky areas there is a Adder or two sometimes, even higher there are Copperheads. Plus all the nice little snakes. My old dog Bob, knew the difference between a RBB and a Tiger, we often saw both on our daily walks.
  2. I love the Chix those ears should be registered. Why in dogs name do they cut their ears.

  9. My little Gilly is afraid of squeeky toys. He was traumatised at traing one day, we where in a group and there was a group just near us and they were doing squeeky toy fun. They all squeeked at once, that was enough to terrify Gilly he bolted and ended up hideing under my friends car.Poor little bloke. Bob hates strorms as does Blake. Bob also hates gun shots.
  10. I love all my oldster boys. They wonder around and seem to enjoy life. Its funny to watch Bob and Blake walk away from me, they both have bandy old man back legs. They get great enjoyment from watching the horses and cattle next door, albeit from a comphy spot in the sun. I know I will loose the two oldest sooner more than later.
  11. The law of the land is' if your dog strays on to someone elses land they WILL be shot". Just because its a full moon and your dogs wants to roll in something smelly, wont save it. If a dog strays or takes or endangers stock people have a right to do what they want when its on their land. Keep you dogs at home ALL of the time. Dogs cant help it so its up to owners to stop it. Its amazeing how far dogs can travel in one night. Edited to say we lost so many calves and mothers to a pair of German Shephards that lived fourty k's away from the farm!!!!
  12. Geez Dory that would have been interesting.

  20. Geez they are wonderful pics Ripley. I was talking to my son yesterday, he has been going to Hill 60 at Port Kembla to watch the Whales. Its behind the pool. Thats were my dad used to take me when I was a kid, to see the whales come up the coast. One of my dreams is to go and see some Albatross, I would like to go to that place in NZ where there is a colony. Or better still go down to the ice. I have never seen an albatross. Have seen lots of whales off Coolum, doing back flips and tail slaps, they were out a long way, but you could still hear and see them.
  21. I only share with Gilly, Bob has his chair and Blake has his blankie next to my bed. Gilly does do the doona dive, especially now its bloody freezeing up here. Blake does look longingly at the bed at times.
