Sorry, but if you work a lot and were concerned about not spending a lot of time with your boy, where are you going to find the time to raise a puppy and a one from an unknown background boy you've got your work cut out Best of luck with the new pup

Depends on the boarding kennel mumof4girls Some have a certain time you can get shown around. That way the dogs aren't constantly getting excited about newcomers

SOrry to hear that

Shut in our room with us, she alternates between her bed on the ground, our bed which is luckily king sized and her spot by the window that she likes to look out.

It's a shame you haven't met many nice ones. They're such sweet dogs in the right hands, but like cattle dogs a few idiots can really give the breed a bad name! ;) Hope she finds her owners soon.

What Breeds / X-breeds Show Up In Shelters?
Esky the husky replied to sandgrubber's topic in General Dog Discussion
It makes me sad how many huskies and northern breeds end up in pounds. Sometimes I wish they weren't so darn adorable so that people wouldn't buy them -
I will vouch that wooly coats are incredibly 'sticky' I love the corded poodles!

Sounds like it'll be an interesting time for you guys. We need to see photos of these dogs. :D

What Papers Should Come With A Purebred Puppy?
Esky the husky replied to Fiasco's topic in General Dog Discussion
Awww puppy Such a gorgeous dog, love his colour :D I didn't get Esky's papers from her breeder for close to a month, although there was a bit of a stuff up. For some people it takes even longer, but they will show up -
Olive baby you may be able to find some of those dogs listed on DOL ETA: Here is Driftways DOL page to start you off :D http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/member.asp?name=GUY

Thanks for sharing! That's a fantatic set up.

I usually use the local car wash one I've tried the shower at home, but it doesn't get through her coat and the tub of the bath isn't really deep enough. I'd never though about infections though

Awwww elderly pugs are so cute

Your set up sounds awesome. I've only got the one dog at the moment. Plus I need room for the racing scooter which is a really awkward shape though- like a mountain bike but with a flat base, so it doesn't fit into my current car without serious tetris skills Because pictures are easier Unpainted scooter by 9114, on Flickr The only other things I'd need to fit in would be gear you need for camping ie tent, swag etc

I did try a search Rozzie- but because the word dog and ute are both under 3 letters it didn't work
-
I am seriously seriously considering getting a ute for my 'dog car' While the model I'm looking at is dual cab and she would be able to travel in there with me there are some times where it would be prferable for her to ride in the tray. For example after a weekend of sled racing when she and all our gear is covered in mud. So do any of you guys have experience with dogs travelling in utes? Have you had dog boxes installed on the back? Also does anyone have any links to any laws relevant to this in Australia?
