  1. No symptoms here :D I'm still normal ( *cough* thanks to the old ball and chain )
  2. Oh that's really interesting dobes rock, I didn't know anything about that :) How far is the breed off being recognised ?
  3. Yay Rogue looks so happy in his new home. Looks like a good fit. Your girls look very happy and gentle with him, Ohh Simi is so cute. What breed is he/she?
  4. No, an Elkhound is a purebreed :) You may see them in show rings being paraded around with the other hounds :D Lovely dogs
  5. Esky was $1000 on the limited register. What I got for that included a well raised and socialised pup, vaccinations, health checked parents, microchipping, keyhole desexing (which I'm sure wasn't cheap) IMO that's a bargain :D
  6. I've spent whole days at home where all Esky wants to do is sleep. They certainly don't have to be doing something all the time. :) If I can see she's getting a bit antsy we go out- have a play or a walk or some training. I don't think she gets up to much when we aren't around.
  7. We were very fortunate to find a small property management agency and got to know the property manager. Once she approved our application- she showed us through a number of potential houses and then let us decide which one best suited us- (pending approval from owner of course) I hope it works out well for us next time :)
  8. God I have enough trouble taking my handbrake up some days! What a disaster, glad nobody got hurt
  9. Depending on the types of plates you get there are yearly fees here
  10. Husky would fit ;) shame I'm not in vic
  11. It's not illegal. I thought by law they had to be restrained? Artistic licence anyway. Great ad!
  12. How long ago did you get your dog? Sometimes the paperwork side of things takes a while. They may not have decided which pup went on which register until they were 8 weeks, so there are a number of reasons you could have to wait. Esky's papers accidentally got sent home with her sister's owner, so we had to wait until the breeder got them back from her and then sent them on.
  13. I've used a clicky pen in place of a clicker ;)
  14. No, they refer to their dogs as stock, rather than 'dogs'. Oooh right like breeding stock *blonde moment*
  15. I've never heard of a breeded use the term 'in stock'
  16. Not really Teebs? Do you take dogs in or mind them at your house?
  17. Oh if only someone would let me do garbage sorting . OK guys what questions should I ask this guy? I was a bit put on the spot when he actually followed through and rang me.
  18. Was tha last bit directed at me ;) I'm not even telemarketing any more. It's worse door to door coms only I've made no sales Thanks for all the replies :) I'll go see the thing in person but judging by the responses here not sure that it will be a smart choice. The guy I'd be working for doesn't own a dog- I think that worries me most!
  19. I would be subcontracting too. Could you explain your first comment?
