Found this little guy in my garden yesterday and popped him in a small tank to get some shots. Today he took a fly and so I got some pics of him feeding :) Peacock Jumping Spider They are called Peacock spiders due to their amazing courtship display :) http://www.theguardian.com/science/grrlscientist/2013/jan/15/1

Pretty social on the Saturday night is it?

Thanks Huga - I'm due to go out to a lake tomorrow and do a bit of bird photography, weather is looking dodgy, so this could be a good alternative if it gets rained off :) Good luck on your entries can you show us your photos after the judging?

Louis had one on the underside of his tongue about 6 weeks ago. I haven't noticed it recently, so I think it's subsided. Louis has IMHA at the moment and is on immune suppressant drugs, one of which has skin side effects like this! Luckily he has had minimal side effects though :) I hope Gus's one clears up soon, at least Louis's wasn't too visible! eta - I like your sea anemone analogy, but I think Goose Barnacles are more accurate

 I'm putting it down to a blonde thing as well. Louis is great at catching treats, Daisy does exactly what the Goldie did  -

Congratulations Kirislin :D She is a beautiful little poppet and I'm looking forward to lots of gorgeous photos as she grows. Have you warned your guys there is trouble ahead? -
Gorgeous! I know that look so well Lol, if not it should as it's very appropriate for a Siamese
-
Thanks for that, I'll track it down on On Demand. I have one of his books and it is full of the most beautiful photos :) The one with the cow is amazing!

Lovely grumpy pooches  Mim that is just adorable! :D My attempts at keeping Louis's ears out of his dinner are usually met with disgust
-
Just gorgeous! I love FM lambing season looking forward to all the bouncing ones :D

Louis can't have raw food at the moment, so I wondered about antlers too. Do they splinter at all? I like the cow hooves too Corvus, but ours are indoors and the smell of them on the sofa is not good
-
Congratulations, that is a great achievement Well done Sid :D

Liked :) Thanks pie :D

My dogs wouldn't do this, but I would love to come along and try to get some photos if possible? I can't make tomorrow but please update if this runs again :) Hope it's a fun successful day :D

Looking For A Leather Collar & Lead
CrazyCresties replied to Sail_Away's topic in General Dog Discussion
Just going to throw another one into the mix for you if you are thinking 'pretty' :) http://www.hollyandlil.co.uk/ My cocker wore his cowhide one in forests and the beach where it got hammered but lasted beautifully. They have custom made me ones for my cresties, which look as good as new several years later. Look at the Boho and Charms ones - not for rough housing, but they are certainly pretty :) I think there are some HV's in the gallery. http://www.hollyandlil.co.uk/index.asp?function=WEBPAGE&page=17 -

Ok fair enough  Also if they are in the boot of say an SUV or estate car, then it is better than loose on the back seats, but I just see so many people driving along with dogs half hanging out of windows without thinking of the consequences. -

I scares me sh*tless everytime I see this, and I see it too frequently There was even the occasion when I turned up to training at DogsWest and someone's dog leapt out of the back of their ute just as they arrived and was left hanging by its neck! Luckily it was grabbed quickly and let down and seemed ok. Secure your dog safely, preferably in a crate if on the back of a ute - or in a crate or harness if inside your car - it's not hard
