Same here. Never any dogs at our voting days. I wouldn't take mine anyway. My girl doesn't do crowds very well. All a bit much for her I think.

Products For Dogs With Sensitive Skin
BC Crazy replied to Kavik's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
The only time my boy has had a Tick on him was when I couldn't get any Advantix & bought some Frontline instead. I don't find it nearly as effective. My girl is very sensitive (not her skin though, she is just touchy) & hates having Advantix applied but it's better than her dying from Tick poisoning. As for any other products that are effective, sorry I can't be of any help as I am not game to fix what isn't broke as the saying goes & try something new. Only other thing I use is a Preventic Tick collar but if you have littley's I wouldn't use one of those as they do smell & if you touch them the product will get on your hands. Not safe for children IMHO :) -

Me too. I kept an eye out everywhere for him & walked my guys legs off when Eddie was suspected of being in a 2 hour radius of where I live. You just never know. -
Im not brave enough to bring myself to watch this utube clip. I can only then imagine what horror's this dear little pony went through at the hands of this total waste of oxygen I can only wish karma has it's way with her BIG TIME..... may she & any accomplices rot in hell....

What wonderful news :) How River survived is way beyond me. Dogs are just so dam resilient & forgiving.

I love Hank ♥ He is just gorgeous. He has grown & his face is maturing already. Totally understand why you started another thread regarding time management owning 2 dogs hankodie. I wouldn't get a thing done if Hank was here :-D I started to take a pic a week when I first got Stella but she was a right handful when she was a puppy & took up a lot of my time. Not much has changed with her really ;-)

 Yeah Steph M. They just blew me away honestly.... Steph, I'm wasting my time training Stella really then aren't I? I'll just go & get me a glass of bubbles, sit down & ask Sonny to do it. Simple  Really my only thoughts at the time was, poor Jack. Where is he going to end up with owners like that. Yes probably back where he came from sadly

Exercising Reactive Dogs Thread
BC Crazy replied to megan_'s topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
OH rats Corvus. I'm sad now I really valued your opinion & enjoyed your depth of insight into the world of reactive dogs. I will have to figure out this facebook thing,( yes I am very behind the times) I know  So I can keep in contact with you. And LBD is so right, it is our loss I have a degree in nothing but "hats off" to you for getting yours. That is so impressive. Good on you Also thanks for your very valued imput regarding Stella. You have always been very helpful & supportive to me. For that I am always grateful. Take care won't you. Until we speak again -
There is a beautiful Greyhound at our local beach. He isn't muzzled but has had that Greenhound collar tested. He is an awesome dog. Big blue boy. He always plays with Sonny & Stel & they chase him around. God they can cover some ground :) Always loved them. Classic yesterday while I was out & about with my 2 guys this middle aged couple whom I have never seen before approach me with their new rescue 18 month old BC, Jack. Anyway they ask me if it would be ok if they let Jack off leash.Slightly confused as to why they were asking me I said it is your dog do what you like with it. Then they say, oh so your 2 dogs can teach him how to behave I replied that I didn't think that was such a good idea, don't be offended but.... & went to proceeded on my merry way. They where really put out by my reply. They said bloody hell how are we suppose to socialise him if you won't let your dogs near him I'm thinking you have got to be kidding me right. I couldn't believe it !!! I turned & said he is socialising. Just cause he is on lead doesn't mean he isn't & it certainly isn't me nor my dogs responsibility to "train" him. That is totally up to you. The whole ordeal just floored me. They thought that just because I have the same breed as them that mine could teach poor Jack how to behave. Talk about clueless people.... I just walked away shaking my head in sheer disbelief.

Merlin is stunning .... I'm another who wouldn't use a furminator on him. I'd use a rake, just lift the top coat & gently comb out in the direction the coat grows. You'll be surprised how much you will rake out. You can do it over a few sessions if need be. Some dogs are sensitive . Takes me usually a couple of goes to complete my boys coat but well worth the effort

OMG Sumo is sensationally cute Poor OH looks like he can barely hold him  42. something kg's. He nearly weighs as much as me  I hope he keeps his smoochy face too. I adore it :) Love your new hydro bath. Great find on Gumtree. Me wants one of those one day. You will get lots of use out of that with a showie Saint. Looking forward to some pic's from the Royal. Best of luck with Sumo there :)

My 2 are the very best of friends . My girl goes off if she if left at home & I take Sonny out. I can hear her screaming 3 blocks away Oh but if I take her & leave Sonny, she's all good with that & she doesn't look back. She doesn't put a foot wrong . Hence, I usually take them both out together & train each one while we are out. I might tie one up & work the other. I play retrieve or tugs with both, taking turn about. That way they learn to wait quietly. Also my 2 have very good off switches. When I end the play I thank them for the game & they know it's game over. Border Collies are very smart & will very happily organise you so you have to set boundaries & stick to them. They will manipulate you first chance they get ;-). It hasn't been all plain sailing my girl has challanged me every step of the way. Just haven't given up or given in ;-)
