they just hide it better as Lillysmum said. People here prefer to think it doesn't happen, that ok, read both sides then make up your own mind. Uncaged There is no reason to test the food on lab animals, why? can anyone tell me why they need to keep caged animals. These animals are not pets, they don't go home to a nice beddy, they live in a lab, why? for a ruddy dog food? disgraceful. They SAY they don't kill them anymore, have a look at the research. They ADMITTED they killed them prior to 2003, had a big come clean we will be good people now. To me it doesn't matter, the past, the present or the future I will not use their products. I use every opportunity to advise people of the previous (admitted) findings and suggest that they research very carefully to be comfortable with the diet they feed their pets. For those who are not anti vivisection ir really doesn't matter.

I see Tracey said the same I was thinking, this pup needs to go back to an experienced vet for a check up. Could easily be hip dysplasia and you will need a management programme if it is. There is nothing I know of that makes a pup wobbly for no reason?? anyone? You need money for emergency situations with a dog. I wouldn't even stop to ask, that pup would and should have been at the vets as soon as it displayed those symptoms. Glad the puppy is ok but you need to save for a rainy day.

have you called your vet? I am not located in Sydney which is why I suggested calling your vet or your canine association. You can't wait, you must deal with this immediately, this is really serious,ok I already said that I will shut it now. Good luck
-
exactly immediately now yesterday
-
Ring your canine association and ask for the name of a behaviourist they have had results with, alternatively call your vets office and ask them. When you get the name make sure that you ask for and get references.

Yawning, Stressed Dog During Training

If you can't get in to K9 for 2 to 3 months as has been suggested perhaps someone in your area can help you to find a suitable immediate alternative. -

Missy sack them go elsewhere, if K9 and Hanrob are no good for your location surely someone in Sydney can suggest close option which they have seen results from. Missy there have been masses of threads about dogtech before, here is one from a year ago. dogtech thread -
Yawning, Stressed Dog During Training

would Hanrob be close to you? I have no idea of cost sorry. Steve Austin is an amazing trainer and animal behaviourist. The trainers are all trained by him Hanrob use a mixture of positive reinfrocement and negative punishment which means treats for desired behaviour and removal of a value like a toy for undesirable behaviour. Everything is explained and they ensure you understand the reasons which seems to be sadly lacking with your current trainer. -

I use the Malaseb to wash his feet twice a day, if I notice them itchy... I use the smallest amount in a small bowl... Stopped him licking his itchy feet after a coupld of washes... I just found this worked well for us as he only got itchy feet when they put down the fertiliser at the park... Cheers Jodie I thought that was what you meant, just checking, yes we use when itchy but since washing with saline no itch... yet...
-
do you use malaseb twice a day or just wash feet in water twice a day?
-
Jenny I used that mix when we brought Rusky home from kennels one time. I used rescue remedy and then added aspen and mimulus at the suggestion of a friend. She calmed down and stopped her 'licky leg' which was disgusting.

for sons dog he washes her feet dailyin the evening with cool boiled water which has had some salt added, just a teaspoon. Then dries with her own foot towel. We did put cider vinegar in for a while but didn't make a difference.

may not be so silly as a mate of mine had Hobbes problem when she gave up smoking. Every morning she walked the dogs then coffee and fag then loo. No fag.. no loo and I laughed at her glad you have some medicine to keep things moving

I meant a second by second for 15 mins, try it with no interation and yep they must send them away but I thought they had a strip test, maybe I am thinking of another test.
-
I am pleased he is better but did the vet suggest a reason for the constipation/obstruction and did he give you any medicine to keep him regular? we had 3 here had bones that size and no proper walk for the 2 days no problems.

Lorraine what I don't understand re the heartworm is why they didn't give you the results immediately. I may be way way off here but if I were you I would keep a diary, so when he starts being odd write down what everyone else is doing, any noises TV programmes etc and what he does, ears up, down, tail up down over a 10 ot 15 minute period. Don't interact with him during this time just write it all down. If you get a pro to come to your home they will love the diary and it may be that you will suddenly see what the problem is.

only bite if your dog is silly enough to put their nose in its mouth, I saw it cos I was there. I thought it was a snake, poor bluey he wandered off to fight another day.

We have an old golden and she appears to have some senile confusion, her memory is impaired I am sure of it cos of many other factors, she also has impaired vision. I am terrified she will get bitten by a snake, she was bitten by a blue tongue the other day, too too close. The dog next door died from a snake bite. Someone told me that in snakey areas of the US they sprinkle naphelene (moth ball flakes) around the fence line. I need to check if it will harm our native birds but am willing to do try.
