  1. There are plenty of worming tablets that treat small dogs, 10kg isn't the smallest one you can get
  2. Just saw on FB that we got Wisdom babies overnight! Hopefully Huski will log on at some stage and share the details and maybe a pic. Thread is http://www.dolforums.com.au/topic/254140-look-what-just-arrived/page__view__findpost__p__6371235
  3. not looking. not looking. not looking.
  4. I Can't vote as there is no option for no dogs scared of storms... I have two dogs and neither of them are bothered.
  5. Interestingly, Fergs got a stick stuck in his mouth when he was a wee pup. It was removed then-and-there by the vet and then I changed to PetPlan. Almost 6 years on "stick in mouth" is still an exclusion... I've heard of people applying to get exclusions removed. You know, just in case he gets another stick in his mouth and you need to claim for it
  6. Maybe this can go in the cruelty subforum, it exists for a reason.
  7. Mine are great crumb cleaners, regardless of if the crumbs are on the floor, a chair, your clothes, fingers, plate or even still attached to the food!
  8. Mine does this too! Just seeing the towel turns her feral and and manic and it's a drama to catch her to dry her because it's a game
  9. I only bathe them when they roll in something stinky too (or get peed on), but it's still bathing.
  10. I chuck my guys in the shower with me sometimes, which then leads to them bashing on the shower screen to be let in when I dare shower on my own
  11. for the pugs? I've thought about it for entertainment value, I can imagine they would sit staring at it until I got home and removed it
  12. More likely you haven't trained him not to do it. Desexing doesn't train a dog. You've mentioned several times now that you expect behaviours to stop now that he's desexed (and got him desexed because he had behaviours you didn't like). So you're in for a shock when you realise the removal of the ability to reproduce doesn't actually train your dog for you :)
  13. More likely you haven't trained him not to do it. Desexing doesn't train a dog.
  14. Desexing is not a replacement for training and it won't cure bad behavior or habits such has barking. You're removing the dogs ability to reproduce, not it's vocal cords
  15. I've had a girl with weakness after diarrhea and vomiting, I was worried about a tick beacuse of the rear end weakness but she came good after getting better and getting her strength back, no long term damage etc Edit: my Pugs get those treats most days in their kongs, there isn't a problem with the treats and the OP wasn't implying that there was.
  16. I use a sporn on my freight train pug, but it's the one with mesh on the chest instead of the collar.
  17. I don't know anything about Weims, but a simple google searched showed hips/elbow scoring isn't mandatory in Australia for registration and there appears to be minor contreversy amongst the Weim people about HD in the breed. So... take it up with the Weim people :)
  18. They also started a gazillion new threads and in each copied and pasted reviews from the internet

  20. Why do some places give the number results and not just a yes/no for immunity? Wouldn't that save a whole lot of confusion as either a dog has immunity or it doesn't, there aren't different scales or levels of immunity.
  21. Really? Really? If you want them to eat the crossword, sure.
  22. My Pug is hands down the most energetic dog Ive ever had. And I've had Staffords and Rotties! Don't be lulled in to thinking you are getting an easy house dog  Alvin is three and not showing any signs of slowing down. He scares me - he's mental  I'd love to have your Alvin and my Max together and see if they could wear each other out
  23. And to prove I don't need new toys, last night Max somehow got into the "toy hospital" bag and nicked off with one like it was the best toy in the world. So I decided instead of fussing about mending it, I'd take the stuffing out and let them just have them the outside of the de-stuffed toy and she's now in love with it and it's her favourite toy in the whole wide world
