  1. Shock! Horror! I hope Ronin did not hear you say THAT  Well, I just took this photo when I read your message, so I guess it would be safe to say that he didn't hear it  He just rang me.... he said he heard ALL that. He knows all after all. Woof!

  3. I speak from my own experience of having a pack. I recall that mine were especially kind and gentle when there was illness around. My feelings is the behaviour gets picked up by the humans? At least I choose to think that. Ongoing HUGS to all of you. Your family, including all the animals is very close knit.
  4. HeeHee!!!! Not just a pretty face that Ronin. You could add: Get me fan base of adoring followers too ( please, Daddy).
  5. I swear that with Tibor his smile would get BIGGER as he came to me on this recall. He was beside himself with keeness to 'get' to my side. Horrible Herbert is doing as well with this part of his training too. Big advantage of a long back yard for pratice. When we had training a couple of months back, Herbert was the youngest of the other dogs but his recall was spot on, even in front of strangers.
  6. I have grit in my eyes to read this, nicky. It's an honour you have been given to be the guardian of Emmylou as she prepares to cross over. First point I make is to be kind to yourself, and allow the tears along with the laughter. Dog willing, Emmylou will have days of simply being a dearly loved puppy with her Momma. ( Age means nothing frankly.) These are the times to revisit, in your heart & head what made Emmylou so precious you chose her for a life together. Be aware of the chances of pain. Be in contact with your Vet for what to do. Unless diet precludes what Emmylou can eat, then food should be frquent & easy for her to manage. Stuff like being comfortable needs to be checked. Boundaries are not needed now. Take the moment, not the day, if you get what I mean. On Tibor's last Saturday, he dive bombed the puppy to grab 2 wee pieces of dried liver off the floor. It was a triumph for the dear old boy. With our bonds, our Darlings give us love even when..... I send you both much LOVE & gentle cyberhugs.
  7. Rain made for great recall these last days....
  8. Off hand I think it got approval in the USA last September. New on the scene indeed.
  9. I am IN LOVE. (sorry Herbert, I am being unfaithful )
  10. I so hear you...I sit & close my eyes & see my darlings I have them in my heart but my arms? Well they wait for that special day.
  11. The K9+ brand? I think the smallest I could go would be the 'Large' which is 6kg ... I have the XLarge Royale 2 now. The only thing stopping me getting another is price and concern of quality for money.... The Vizsla bitch was in the 5kg crate.... just if the dog is no longer desctructive.
  12. Thanks Maddy, do you know where I can purchase this from? Australian Online seller? I would recommend Wolf's Den. (If you have ad's enabled, you may see their ad on top of the forum).... http://thewolfsden.com.au/ Higly recommended. And may I say, one lucky puppy to have such a grand kennel. Photos eagerly awaited! (when you are ready, of course)...
  13. What type of outside kennel have you chosen?
  14. Since the dog is now an adult, why not consider a smaller size K9 crate? At the Royal, my Queensland vistors had their bitch in their smaller size soft crate. It weighed 5 kilos & was easy to use. :)
  15. One of my fav's is Austral Herbs located in NSW. http://www.australherbs.com.au/index.html great fan of IHerb as well & several others.
  16. That's spooky.... I was just looking at amazon UK for this product... http://www.amazon.co.uk/DOOG-WB005-Walkie-Belt-Black/dp/B001DDLIFY Feel it might be a bit small for an iphone which I have. :)
  17. Made me giggle, ricey. We had a moggy years ago that truly thought he was a dog. He used look at his own species & think them strange. that''s one very cute kitten :)
  18. good my guys line up for it..pushing each other aside in their enthusiasm.. H And so do the humans in our home!!! Quite a favoured addition to my cooking. :)
  19. Heap of grit in my eyes now. Much love to you for this work.
  20. What is CFA, VM? Country Fire Assocation ( from Victoria). We did big swopsies with rations.
  21. Not taking this off topic.... I am seriously considering starting Herbert on supplements. He is so active, jumping from great heights and spending so much energy. Have to protect him for his older years. That should be OK? Or a Vet check first? :)
  22. But but BUT.... do I have news for you. You can get it as an ebook!!!!! Amazon have it. It's Kindle format. But if you do not have Kindle, there is also a free app for smart phones & iphones....
