Clicking Mad Posted August 8, 2009 Share Posted August 8, 2009 (edited) that 2nd shot tlc is a killer! love it :D I've taken quite a few in the past few months that would fit this challenge too, it's something I seem to do to experiment a little ... "lets try another shot into the sun" I say to my dogs ... but I haven't really known what I was doing just shooting and adjusting and shooting some more until my card was full or the dogs up and walked away anyway nothing new from me today eta: just going back over the past few days here, I'm loving the colours from everyone ;) Edited August 8, 2009 by Clicking Mad Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
tlc Posted August 8, 2009 Share Posted August 8, 2009 Thanks guys, but I thought out of them all the second one was a bit lack lusta, a bit washed out or something, I should have had a bit of a play with it before i posted, they are all strait off the camera! Its funny cause when i was younger I was always told never to shoot into the sun, but on trying it, some shots come out so well. i had a lovely old man tel me one day (at the park, taking some pics) "Oh you cant take photos into the sun" I printed out a few of the pictures of his dog and give them to him and he said "oh i was so wrong, I always thought the pictures wouldn't have come out if the sun was in front of you". i guess it is all in the technique!! Even if I didn't, I am proud that Harry was still for long enough to get a photo! ETA :D They look so bad resized. I seem to have forgotten all the manual setting stuff I learned in high school so this has been harder than I expected. Fun though. Unfortunately this seemed to be the only clear one out of 40 This one could have been sharper, but I liked the rainbows Silhouettes? redangel Posted August 10, 2009 Share Posted August 10, 2009 Have had a busy month...managed to get out for a stroll with the dogs on Saturday...took some evening shots...they may fall in the sillhoette catagory...will try to get time to try backlighting shots...I am enjoying everyones pics ;) ....you encourage me to try harder to get out there with my camera.
