At 12noon the Cranbourne site said 38 degrees. Glad I was not entered and quite a few in my group who got CC's did not wait around for Group Specials as I have had a few calls with results etc.

12.30pm news said 39 degrees with cool change but here it is as hot as hell and not a cloud in the sky or even the sign of a change- justy damn hot northerly winds.

It was till 32 degrees at midnight.

Tomorrow will be hotter than the forecast 33 degrees if we do not get a change soon.

Then Monday 41 degrees!!! Someone ought to ban Summer

Actually the cranboune site has Maximum Temperature (since midnight)36.4 °C at: 11:49 AM!!!

it was made, to change the time to 7.30 am, when was it changed to 9 am?

This is where the confusion was... the "official" notices on the DogsVic website never at any stage said the show "will" start at 7.30am.

Up until Thursday it always stated "in the event that the forecast temperature be 38c or higher" ....

and then as per the policy, the final notice 36 hours in advance stated that it will start at 9am as scheduled.

Glad to be home it is 35.8 out there

Group 7

BIG Frenchie - Jnr

RUBIG - Skip - Inter

Dane - puppy

Dane - Aust bred

Dally - Open

Baby - Keeshond

Minor - Dalmatian

Ziggy the Schipp now has 2 RUBIGs in 3 shows this year.

Melbourne CBD reached 38.7C at 11:54am. Cranbourne was 34.5C at 9am. (From http://www.bom.gov.au/weather/vic/observat...melbourne.shtml now).

I had 5 hours at home overnight, with around 2 hours sleep. I don't know how I would have handled a 7:00 am start after a night show. Maybe KCC Park needs to upgrade its accommodation facilities, showers and change rooms if we are to survive these small turnaround times?
