Kirislin Posted August 24, 2013 Author Share Posted August 24, 2013 Their poor owner might be regretting ever letting me get involved. Last night he told me Widge was a bit off colour yesterday, so he took her to the vet and she's got a slight infection which is being treated with AB's. He said that she picked up almost immediately and now seems back to normal. But me being me, my eyes pinged open at about 4.45am this morning and I started worrying that she'd been misdiagnosed. I feared eclampsia so I emailed and then rang him at 5am to ask him to check on her. I know Sunday mornings are sacred to most normal people so he would have been perfectly within his rights to tell me to bugger off, but he's lovely and he'd already checked on her and she is fine. Their dad isn't on DOL but I've shown him the thread and he's quite touched that so many people are enjoying Widge and her babies. I find myself looking forward to the next time I'll be seeing them all week. I do have a life outside these puppies but right now I'm so preoccuied with thinking about them.
