From my understanding you can use them but not sell them without the c tick. You also might be in trouble with insurance if the device causes a fire and burns your house down.

Palmar Luxation Of The Antebrachiocarpal Joint

No experience with this but wanted to say that I hope the dog recovers ok. -
It is made by Browns Herbal. As well as various dog products they do also sell horse products.

Would you like to point out exactly were I said a 'small hard poo' was needed? How many big hard poos do dogs do? Or do do :) I don't believe I even used the word 'hard' in relation to poos.

A soft big poo isn't going to express the glands. Without extra water intake psyllium husk can also cause blockages.
-
To me it doesn't make much sense to use psyllium husk for an anal glad problem. My understanding of anal glad issues is that you need firmer poo to express the glands. Psyllium husk will give you softer poo.

I wish my dogs looked scarier so people would give them space! Had an incident last week where a young guy was dragged across the path by his 'friendly' dog and basically trapped me on the fence. I told him to keep walking and got the 'he is friendly' response. I had to say that mine weren't. I didn't really like his dog's body language and it was big enough to do damage.
-
This is why I train my dogs too :) Lots of people just don't get it. Wish there was a 'fun' agility place near here. There used to be a place in Lilydale that was lots of fun.

Hills L/D has minimal animal protein. It is soy protein mainly. Amber looks great on it. Nice shiny coat.

I have fed it on and off over the years. I usually make up 2-3 days at a time. I mix the meat in with it so would be more concerned about the meat going off than the Phuds. It is ready to use in about 5 mins though, it isn't an overnight soak thing, so you could get it ready fresh everyday. All my dogs have loved eating it.

Ankc No Longer Recognising Flyball Titles

The insurance issue is a legitimate one imo. It caused heaps of trouble in the horsey world for a while, with different groups not being covered at events. Just saying to instruct members without insurance not to help isn't really good enough. -
Is the housemate ok Rozzie? Did he get hurt at all in the attack?
-
what is the aim of your questions? You seem to be inferring that the owner of Sarge is to blame? Personally, If a next door neigbours dog had jumped my fence and attacked my dog previously, unless the situation had been rectified as in improved fencing or a secure run erected etc, I wouldn't take my dog into an area where it could be vulnerable to a repeat attack. So not the time or place for such a comment.
-
This is just so horrible. Hugs to Rozzie and family and to the housemate. Hope the housemate is ok.

It would depend on the council as to whether 'in control' is enough. It does annoy me when people stop walking during these situations though. I am constantly telling people to keep walking!

Rather Awkward Question - May Offend
JulesP replied to Pollywaffle's topic in General Dog Discussion
Is this a little dog thing? I've known lots of little dogs that like to hump soft toys, cats, rabbits etc but can't recall big dogs doing it. Maybe big dog owners stop the behavior quicker as it could cause more harm to the humpee! -
My shire states that dogs must be 'securely confined' on an owners property. Loose out the front with no fence (solid or zappy) doesn't sound securely confined.
-
Would just need to check the purine content. They can't have animal protein. Egg whites and cottage cheese are ok.
-
Great news
-
Veggies are ok as long as they are low in purines. A lot of dogs with liver shunts also get stones so it is advised to feed a low purine diet.
-
I have a dog with liver shunts. Cheerios make a good treat. Or bits of apple.

Well, never knew that. That's nuts, when the council have provides doggy drinking fountains and doggy bags then officially call The Strand a dog prohibited area?! I want to see this map they reference in the exclusions, but the map provides is such a grainy image I can barely make out which areas of the Strand are no goes! I had a look yesterday and as far as I could work out dogs could walk up and down The Strand but couldn't go on beaches.
