:) What a dignified looking cat !
-
Well caught!! They are difficult to catch ..and you got some good detail :)
-
Kirislin .. ermmm I use mine on the canon 28 -80 lens. They screw into the end , and are MUCH easier to use than extension tubes , and I think I only paid around $25 .00 to buy online . I found THIS SET of pics on flickr , using the +10 (macro) filter/magnifier that I used . Some of them are pretty darn impressive! :)
-
..and .by the way , we do need more shots of this gorgeous girl ;)
-
Reggie is very handsome :)

Dear little girl... I would give her the human low fat stuff - turkey ham, lean mince, low fat cottage cheese, chocolate custard , roast chicken - no skin .... plain sponge cake .. or UNIBIC sponge fingers .. (a dryish biscuit with egg and little fat) Eating human food/treats is the least of her worries now ... so ,as long as it's low/no fat .. try it!
-
Thanks :) yes, I dragged the Canon out ( I really don't use it as much as I should - prefer the point & shoots) and put the 'magnifying glass' on ..;)

I seem to remember reading that the Op does not have 100% health? Forgive me if I'm wrong,M2S.

yep .. the 'novelty factor' is still much in play . I have outside dogs - have no problem with outside dogs - provided they are of a temperament to cope, have company, plenty of things to do, and enough physical and mental stimulation to have them settled and satisfied.

She is growing into such a pretty girl ! she will enjoy having a swim, I'm sure :)

Number 2 :) :) -
:) they were not in solitary confinement ... and that can and does make a big difference to many dogs.
-
the bolded bit. ;) She was an inside dog FIRST ..and so learnt a lot of calm behaviour , and had attention and lots of constant exposure to human sights/sounds/smells in her puppyhood.
-
..and that is fine :) 5- 10 minutes a few times a day is great ..ALWAYS finish before she shuts down, and end on a good note. By whispering, you get your dog to really listen ...and you get the chance to be calm, and watch ....it's a very simple thing :)

it depends ... If there are several people in a household, and the dogs are getting inconsistent discipline/training , and there are some problem behaviours shown by the dogs, then having an independent professional come in and assess/make plans takes the pressure off the owners/family/housemates , because everyone has the situation explained to them...they are all on the same page :) if an owner is experienced, can read his dog accurately , and has a good working knowledge of how and why dogs do things , what they see as reward, and if they how to control their own responses according to the situation..then taking advice suited to their dog/skills is a great idea. It's a bit like having a sore throat.. and ramping treatment up , and only when the pain is excruciating/disabling, is a doctor consulted , and the best ,tailored treatment given .

onions & bacon! Oh- for the DOG :p :) boil and then cube?
-
have him checked for a yeast problem, maybe ?
-
We use spinosad as a topical lice /fly treatment for sheep , and I have used it as a topical dog flea treatment - also on garden plants for bugs. While it is low toxicity to mammals , and a 'natural' substance .. I just wouldn't feel comfortable feeding it to my dogs
-
I've not used the tablets, but there have been threads about the problems your dogs are having .. HERE's ONE hope they perk up soon :)
-
the other day, for the first time in ages , I felt keen to actually seek out and work on some interesting macro subjects :) here are my two favourites. (taken with the 'macro' magnifier from my Mandee Close Up lens set )

Having a dog who is outside 24/7 may also lead to that dog doing more barking/howling at all hours A dog who is bored/understimulated will find ways to fix this themselves , too! This will often result in digging/chewing/fence running/barking at movements/sounds next door/barking/chasing birds/possums/cats. Living in a rental, and having neighbours upset by a noisy dog is not fun Many of the solitary , outside dogs with limited/no training that I know of are not the most stable of creatures...they do suffer from the circumstances , unfortunately. We have outside only dogs here - but they have plenty of dog company , and a lot of things to do - they are allowed to run and dig and bark ...they come with us in the vehicles... Good on you for doing your research , :)

oohh. very nice :) Love the Hermit crab ! I had no idea what was meant by the thread title so had to come in & have a look ;). Glad I did!

Can Permoxin Be Used On Dogs If You Have Cats?
persephone replied to Lily123's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I love permoxin :) It is great for killing off little brown ticks , as a fly/mozzie repellent/killer , and for stickfast fleas (which a lot of the spot ons are not effective at controlling). -
*phew* Thanks for that very happy update :)
