LOL ..being impatient!! A lot of puppies are not housetrained for about 6 months!! They need your guidance /physical barriers /every opportunity to DO THE CORRECT THING to learn these habits well The main thing is ...that if a puppy has free run of a whole house ..finding a pee pad when you're only a baby and can't yet control all your functions properly is impossible in a lot of occasions When you gotta go ..you GOTTA GO !! Because his sense of smell works ...and that time is the only time he gets to use it ;) take him out in a stroller for short jaunts.Ensure he is used to his new limousine before taking him out of your house/yard !! Lots of pats & treats along the way hide pieces of salami /roast chicken /liver treats for him ... ( just lay them in spots near doorways , along paths , ...on lawn) Don't forget to gove him him BIG meaty bones on which to suck/chew a world of pleasure lies therin ..texture/taste/smell use drops of real vanilla to help him locate things use a walking stick or something to tap fairly hard on the floor ..he may feel the vibrations . Do this..train him with yummy things ...and this way, perhaps let him know you are nearby ?

have you discussed this with his breeder ? Were there any signs of this when he was still at the breeders ? What is his behaviour like when away from the house/yard? Has he been to a puppy obedience class/puppy school ?How was the behaviour there ? Can you video any of this behaviour ?

sure that's not "son-of-a- bitch" ?? Anyway . keep sessions short and fun!! 2 minutes , even!! ALWAYS , ALWAYS end on a HIGH Then a memory is in his little brain of happy ..just happy I enjoy watching these little videos ... some of it is what I do with our puppies ... as I'm useless using a clicker , , and my timing is always a bit 'slow ' ;) With baby pups ..the method shown in video takes a little patience and concentration ..but ...watch closely !! NO voice commands at first !! Cos pups don't know Our Speech Pups ARE smart ..and they very quickly learn that doing xyz gets them something Pups we have now learned in just a few minutes that food bowls would stay empty unless they had bums on the ground for more than 2 seconds ..I did NOT use my voice ..and THEY made the decision The gate on their pen will only open if bums are on the ground ..AND I have used my voice to quietly praise them without them getting up When a puppy makes a decision which gives them a reward ( or a bad experience ) this is remembered . A couple of practices ..and praise ..ALWAYS calm and quiet from an owner ..and that behaviour will stick!! You have children ? Can they 'push your buttons' to get a reaction? Do they sit , gaaaze at you with HUGE eyes /help you with chores, unasked, to encourage you to give them praise ? This is a wonky photo ..but normally they see/hear me coming & stop playing.here they are running full tilt!! For about 3 weeks, this jumble of panels/gates & stuff has been a VERY popular play-gym- to be jumpedon at fullspeed ..run along ..jumped off ..etc etc. Toys get taken up onto it to be chewed..or they just lie there !! they are WEIRD LOL it has been excellent training for them though ..it rocks ..it is wire & metal ...& they need to be agile !! Funny lads ..they discovered their own balance/keepfit "toy"

That video is cute .he also looks older than 7 weeks ..... he looks very happy !! OK. with parvo . Puppies get VERY VERY ill , VERY VERY fast . I have seen puppies die within 24 hours . No, NO JOKE There is no question with it . No waiting for days to see .... Parvo can be absolutely vicious. , and yes , because of the damage the virus does , the dehydration ..hospital is the ONLY thing to do ..and puppies are on drips and medicines 24 hrs/day to help them heal . Not sure about India ...but stray dogs would carry it everywhere, I would think Paarvovirus is tough ..and survives sun/soap etc .

Tuffy looks normal in that little video Not sure what videos you watch to see how to feed a puppy ...BUT a good processed puppy food has EVERYTHING in it which a puppy needs . ( most also contain cereal already ) A puppy food , plus some real meat , eggs and maybe fruit for treats is all he needs - really . The broth sounds a good idea if it's cold weather he does not NEED rice . All it will do is give him a big belly . Think about how dogs are made . they are not made like cows/deer/sheep , who eat grains... They are made more like wolves ..who eat MEAT . if you watch wildlife shows ...do you see a mother wolf/fox/jackal bringing home seeds/fruit for her babies ? Even tho dogs are now living with humans ..the way their bodies work still needs MEAT proteins and nutrients to grow and work best. Tuffy can go outside ... but in your arms ..or a car ..or a baby's stroller that way he gets to see and enjoy the world , but does not have as much risk of contacting dog waste - and maybe catching disease Tuffy sounds a pretty lucky boy .

Welcome - but I'm sorry it's for this . from what you've written , it seems you are being a very worried puppy owner because you care I gather that the experts have given puppy the all-clear now , so relax, and enjoy her antics !

Sunny ...great news that he's eating !! banana and cerelac are HUMAN baby foods ... chimpanzee baby foods ..NOT dog baby foods Would you feed your toddler raw chicken wings, or minced kidney ? No... because it is not suitable human baby food . Growing pups NEED meat . Dogs enjoy a tiny bit of fruit as a treat ... mine love watermelon To grow a puppy's body strong and healthy , it needs the correct diet . banana, rice, wheat cereals , fruits are not a correct diet, as they don't give puppies what is needed to grow bones and good health A pup's stomach works WAY different to a humans ....it is designed to digest anything meaty puppy kibble , chicken wings, pet mince ..... things like this ;) Rice and boiled chicken is a soothing meal for a puppy with an upset tummy ..but only temporary keep doing your homework ..it will only do Tuffy GOOD!! Just remember a dog is NOT a human . A dog does NOT eat like a human A dog does not THINK like a human :)

Welcome to you & Tuffy . poor Tuffy - sounds as if the folks who sold him to you were not the most responsible people - and that is sad Puppies should still be with Mum at 6-7 weeks > The seller should have given you an exact date of birth , details of his diet /any vet treatment /instructions on his care . Tuffy now needs plenty of good meaty food , cos they grow better on what their bodies are built to eat he also needs to be kept safe from disease and cranky dogs ... so do lots of training in your own yard/house It's hard when everything is new & different, isn't it ? here are some snippets which might help. It's great you've joined up here ! We might get a bit concerned and sound like your old maths teacher ..but it is because we CARE about pups/dogs, and helping new owners cope . OK ?
